You still do the 40k on same course, it’s just that sections are timed. Camping good at dales bike centre, can’t recall price, other camping around area as well mind. Cours as title suggests rocky, no trail centre kitty litter. 40K, yes and it feels like it, big climbs… You’ll know you have had a day in the hills, over open moors, no forest roads or muddy tree lined tracks. Beef up your tyre set up, tubeless and sturdy with lots of pressure . It’s very layed back…

That’s a great route, it’s long and you’ll know you’ve done it! It’s all good to go and mastiles is fine. The climb out of arnclife coat always makes my eyes water a bit and there is no tech on it but it’s a good day out. Enjoy. If your using that guide my fave is to do page 19 and 79 back to back, that makes for a toughy!

Just a thought… you’re not using CO2 to inflate at any stage are you? It will react with the sealant and reduce its effectiveness or stop it working at all!

Ahhh, so that’s what it was. Was doing the tour of Ingleboro and kept crossing your paths. As conditions go it wasn’t too bad as it was mild, when it’s like that and cold it’s truly grim….

Magic wand tool over one of lines you wish to keep, right click select ‘similar’, adjust tolerance if it selects too much of black/dark. Then go to top tool bar and under select choose inverse, then fill black, select inverse again and fill green.

Quite crude but depends what you want it for, try making duplicat layer and masking and also ‘feather’ for more subtle effect.

Erm, no its proper mountain biking… If you do all 30k of diff route you will know about it.

Watch out for the section down into Hawes! An eye opener…

Yep, but it’s a pretty easey route to find, print out and map in pocket should do, your never far from anywhere.

This has most of the Hawes stuff on, if it’s a bit long it can be shortened at east section.

It can be done in either direction, this way you avoid the push up the penine bridle way out of Hawes.

    Enjoy.

It says something when a request for a bit of classic orange bike porn gets no response when a similar request for a ‘boardman’ gets 40, humph!

Black. No dark brown, I’m sure my mate had a dark brown one from new, whereas I had a second hand chopper with a water loged sadle that my dad got from gaj in the pub!

I think mine was a bit older, 4 at least. Mistake I made was to buy new…. Used a fair amount but not enough really. Got a folding one which was good to put back of car, no gears, sorry cant remember make. Took her off road on a few local trails for training purposes, that was interesting, don’t think my little one approved!

No they feed on many livestock it’s just most of us are out in areas where sheep are, prior to no dipping you would still get ticks, especially in the highlands. The dip process just kept the buggers down on your local fell or moor. Use tweezers to get out and some good antiseptic cream but there are some special kits available.

The reason they are becoming more prevalent is because sheep do not get dipped any more due to nasty nature of dip and death of farmers. This kept the population quite low.

Settle loop is a classic, bit of up hill grind if your not as fit as you would like but not far to push, good in the damp as well. You’ll find details online easy enough.
