So i sold me nomad a wee while ago and replaced it with a blur 4x love both bikes. But there’s something about this bike that floats my boat. i like the 130 -160 option what do you think about 160mm out of a 50mm stroke shock?

his p1sses me of, man MOST LBS’s are trying to make a living and are constantly being under cut by the bigger chains with bigger bargaining power. I can’t believe that the STW ods don’t have 2peneth worth to say about this gadget.

Bloody great bike. imo it works really well for scotland (hard enough not to break,light enough to climb and it climb not half bad, fun enough to keep you engaged with thew trail i.e it’s not a 6″ trail smoother)

Hammerschmidt would not work to well on a SC vpp design as it’s designed around the middle ring and a HS is designed around the granny so you would get bad pedal feedback.

I banged a 29er wheel in the front end of my Genesis io (rigid fork adjusted for 80mm travel fork) slackens the HA by a degree ish but works well for me and my style.

To be honest i wouldn’t bother it’s only the telly that make Scotland look mountainous it’s actually flat like Holland. Aviemore is really rubbish, nothing to see here move along.
