Yes insurance covers it so that’s fine, the firm who we stay with have helped me out by lending me a bike.

As for being my fault for not being early enough, we arrived 2 hours before the flight so when check in opened and paid speedy boarding to avoid dragging the bikes through the queue. Basically the 5 bikes not on the plane had all arrived early!

Anyways ranting over, this place is great apart from the breaking bumps!!!!!

Another for AA here, had to specify that the bikes were plus £2000, standard contents is max £1500 but includes away from home and abroad

I used them for a ski holiday to Canada, they were really reasonable but I didn’t have to use to make a claim…..

Go get the stans specific ones, the injector worked fine on my stans valves, the other option is if you have the small stans bottle remove the core and pour in that way, or remove part of the bead and pour in…..

Are you using a stans valve, not sure if this makes a difference?!

A lad in the local bike shop told me to buy some major cheap waterproofs, he said when it rains it pours and your stuff gets ruined due to the claggy mud…..

Cheers Jambalaya, I’ve got the OS map so going to highlight a couple of routes, the main thing is that I need to ride down Jacob’s, I’m sure it’s a great climb but also sure that flying down it is even better! 😀

Cheers crispo, don’t fancy riding up it as it looks too good not to ride it downhill.

take out the core of the valve, put ya fluid in, pump up then take the pump off, put thumb on valve to stop air coming out and screw the core back in, top up to the correct pressure.

Did my flows last week with the yellow tape, was really surprised at how easy it is, don’t worry about taking the valve core out the fluid doesn’t go everywhere….

Definitely ask for a ref feral to physic, the doctor will NOT do anything….I got a ref feral letter from my GP to Bupa consultant and he basically said I was making the whole thing up in the letter. Turns out I had a 2cm square patch of cartilage that had disintegrated. After an op and seeing the physic she advised me that if I had any further issues with my other knee I was best to see the physic first. Hope it gets better, had my op in december, biking is now great but I’m still walking funny, apparently it will not heal properly for 12 months….

Older shape Seat Leon Cupra, 1.9TDI, 150bhp, nippy, fun and economical or the new shape Leon 2.0 TDI, Iver had the latter and a friend had the older. Great cars and good value for money compared to VW

Depends what you want, servicing, repairs – DJ Cycles at Holcombe Brook, only a small shop so doesn’t have the stock that Ride On has.

Love my SLX just changed from Elixrs…..tbh there isn’t that much difference between the SLX and the XT apart from the SLX is 2 piece calliper and XT is 1 piece (I’m sure someone will be along to prove me wrong)
