Got mine setup with a Double barrel air as the RP23 just blew through the travel.

Can’t comment on the bearings, but I do have a spare set ready just in case.

Paint does chip, but apart from that it rides really well setup 1×10 with a 34 160mm fork!

Doubles up as my road bikes, I’d love a disc setup in the future like some of the above!

Can’t fault my BFE.. taken it on DH days, gravity enduro’s, dirt jumps and the XC loop!

160MM 34’s. Save some weight on the 36’s. Very impressed with mine so far!

Fair one. The cut isn’t great for me and the gripper on the leg doesn’t keep my leg warmers up, padding is quite good though. Depends what you’re used to I guess.
The way I see it, the liner was a bonus for the price paid.

Buy yourself a tripod adapter and set the camera up on some berms e.t.c, like Plumber says, it’s good to mix up the views and the tripod footage is surprisingly good. Beneficial when the weathers bad and you don’t want to compromise an SLR body/lens!

Liner short isn’t up to much. Useful for cycling round to a friends, on a social ride with the other half or on a commute maybe. Purple shorts are spot on though. Trade on those is closer to £50, so full on bargains all round..

Looks like they’re only just setting up online. All the Scott stuff was originally listed on startfitness instead of startcycles. Also the stock levels were inconsistent with the eBay account, which is prob why some of you are getting out of stock e-mails.

I have one of these: http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/BAPXDLBB/planet_x_deluxe_bike_bag

Then I line the inside with cardboard.

Then something roughly like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHChlpIKs0U

& If you ask nicely at your lbs they may have some packing items to protect mechs/rotors as all new bikes come with specific packaging.

I have a pair of Ksyrium Sl’s. Very impressed, been running them for a year or so. My only gripe is the paint on the hubs isn’t that durable.

Dan: Pretty well tbh, I’ve thrown on flats for DH days and felt pretty comfortable. It feels more stable than my old Orange 222 descending, shows how suspension platforms have moved forward.

I did switch out the RP23 shock though,it was just blowing through the travel, even with spacers fitted.

If you’re referring to this jacket

The large they list in stock is definitely more like a medium. I returned a medium as it was too tight!

There’s also one in black on eBay for a bit more $$$ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Scott-Mind-Tech-Hoody-black-Hoody-Windstopper-Large-/160991466259

I shall point and laugh as I ride alongside then Mossy.

On the glove sizing.. I normally take a Large in Fox/Specialized/Sombrio. The Large in Scott is closer to a medium IMO.

Very nice quality glove with the D30 as previously mentioned.

Very happy with my Cotic BFE, but I have a 150mm fork on there, I think the soul would be better suited with a smaller fork..

I’m heading out to NZ with a 23mth visa. I don’t mind a pedal, but I prefer to descend. I decided to sell the DH rig and go down the overbuilt enduro bike route so I could explore all the trails I come across.. A bit of a compromise, but hasn’t held me back so far!

Anyone else find that Scott clothing comes up small?

I’m normally medium, but had to size up on shorts, gloves and jackets.

I also bought this softshell and reckon it’s a bargain, good fit for casual and snowboarding as well. It’s Gore material too.
