I've come from a hardtail so know what it would feel like. But there was just something in the riding position I didn't like. The main reason I went for the trance was because the frame is the same as the top end trance the rest is easily upgradable. Apart from forks and finishing kit most already has.

I bought my FS at full RRP and it was £995. Read up on all the reviews and narrowed it down to an Orange Crush and a Giant Trance X4. Ended up going for the Trance based on a test ride of the Orange and the Giant back to back and the Orange just didn't quite feel "right". Not sure why but the Giant felt better. I can't find anything wrong with the Giant apart from the brakes aren't as good as the XTR ones on my Scale but thats been sorted out by swapping the parts off the Scale as I hadn't used if for over a year. The forks may need swapping over at a later date but there's no rush for that they do their job.

I had 160 front and rear on my scale. My new trance has 160 rear 185 front. It feels more spongy and I'm not overly fussed about it. It may just be old pads on new rotor though :)

I got a Scale and Allez through Halfrauds cycle scheme so yeah they can get most stuff.

The Goodridge hoses. Do they come as a complete kit for front and rear or do you have to buy front and rear separately? Been looking at them this morning and some shops sell front and rear separately some the full kits but at the same sort of price. I want some for my M960 brakes.

We have all three consoles. Wii is great for parties. I love my PS3 especially the Blu Ray. But the boy loves the Xbox 360. Full internet access on PS3 is good once you get used to it. And as said earlier GT5 is going to be worth the wait. It'll take Forza 3. Place it at the bottom of the Burj Khalifa. Go to the top and sh*t on it from the very top of the spire!

I got an MSI U135 about £200 from Carphone Whore House. Brilliant though. Use it all the time :)

I'm on my second Android phone. First was the G1 good software phone was slow and stupid though. Now got a Sony Xperia X10. Still not overly impressed though. Camera is good though. Much quicker and software is fantastic now. The only problems I have with this is the touch screen keyboard is too fiddly to use, the earpeice is too quiet and the alarm doesn't work properly. The only problem you might have is the keyboard on screen. See if you can get a second hand G1 or try one for a while.
