Sat here at work reading through this and having to explain to my collegues why I'm in tears laughing so much at an MTB forum :lol:

I split with my ex after 10 years. Went to Botswana to live with my dad for 18 months. Did wonders to get over her. Came back. Puttered about on my own with my mates for a couple of years then met the current Mrs Admiralable. We've been together for 3 years now and have a kid and we're both so happy together. She's kicked me to touch and made me grow up quickly. She was in a bad state when I met her. Suffered from depression after her ex messed her around and cheated on her. She's much happier now.

Just keep plugging away. Take each day as it comes and you'll get through it.

Maybe an interesting side note to the story. My ex is now with what used to be my best mate. She won't let him see me now though. :cry:

I think it is possible to change. For big personality changes you need a bigger catalyst for change. Like 3 years ago I was a general **** of a single bloke. Spent all my money on my bikes and booze. Then met the mrs. She had a 6 year old boy and something clicked in my head. Now my first child has arrived of my own and bam! I've turned into a responsible adult overnight. No more spoilt sulky kid if I didnt get my own way.

Now I'm off to find a thread about pi$$ing in shoes and kicking birds back doors in.

Maybe its just the phones. G1 was woefully underpowered. And X10 has had Sony meddling with Android and it keeps opening pointless apps like timescape and moxier mail.

after my experience of Android on my X10 and G1 I'm not touching it ever again. Shocking software. Not even Vista was this slow and confused.

I've got that advanced task killer. Could be that. Will remove it today and try it again. :) The battery life on it is shocking though. I don't use it heavily due to having a net book and broadband dongle for train. But I still charge it at least once a day.

Nope not sleeping through it. The baby has woken me up 10 minutes before the alarm every day this week and its not gone off. Think the phone maybe faulty. :( I told Carphone Whorehouse it was but they couldn't find anything wrong. Alarm works fine after 7am though :?:

It did do an over the air update last week but it's still showing as V1.6 android in the system settings menu. Didn't sort the volume problem out though :( Any idea on when 2.1/2.2 will be released for Xperia?

I did consider the HD2 but Tmobile have withdrawn them from sale :( Think its discontinued.

I like the look of the N900 but whats Xterm? The X10 I got at the moment has an 8mp camera which is good and the OH's W995 has the same camera but I don't like that either. Its a bit slow.
