My 2nd child barely slept a whole night until he was at school. He then started sleeping loads this peaked at 17 – but now he sometimes comes in very late/early morning and tries to sleep all day instead . . . . Thats where me and the hoover come in . . . . Payback time 😀

Do people really worry about what other people think of their bikes and riding ability – surely personal satisfaction is the main concern

Luckily when my bike got pinched when I was 13 – my dad found me and my brother matching Moultons

They may have been something in smalled wheeled geek circles but they were the most uncool bikes for teenagers in the mid 80’s (so uncool that someone stole the cheap combination lock I used at school – but left the bike!)

But I still rode it every day as being on two wheels was far more important than other peoples opinions and still is to me now.

Yuk! As a woman I feel there is a good reason the baby comes out of somewhere I cant see in all the gory detail – so why on earth would you want to look at it on a cake!?

Im guessing to put you off cake and spurr you on to losing the ‘baby weight’ (andother term that bugs me as the weight of the baby is lost fairly quickly)

Chinese lights around here as they give most lumens for least money and i really can’t afford to kit the whole family out at exposure prices

have made diy seat bags for my two boys (had no problems until one of the ladder lock buckles i bought didn’t work properly – didn’t realise until it was actually being used :/ ) but always use a rack on my bike to take panniers if im riding with the boys or just with a drybag strapped to the top if its just me – not the lightest option but easy

and there was me thinking it was yet another thread about 29es riders 🙂

i know the tickets are the ones that get returned but the resale this year was just coach packages, we all tried to get one for a friend who’d missed out on the main sale by the time i got through the nearest ones that were left were coaches from York – not exactly green travel when you live in London but at least she got there!.

I am pretty sure the csa have done credit checks and that does not bring any details – not even a bank account. I know the address he is staying at and I have noticed he now shows up there on the 192 website.

The boys actually gave me the address but i dont want to ask them to do too much – i guess if I ever got a free evening I could go to doncaster myself nd try and find his works van reg number.

Failing that the idea of whislting up a wingless nimrod to fly over his head actually sounds quite appealing – if you see any ‘man gets squashed by secondhand wingless jet headlines’ it’s nothing to do with me though 🙂

Always found this way too cheesy when it came out, but it does make me smile a little if I ever hear it these days

He doesn’t have accounts in his name and the tax records hold nothing. I dont live on a road so i dont actually get to see his vehicle reg. I may try loitering on the road next time hes due to drop the boys off.

I know its tough to sort things amicably – and appreciate a lot of dads get a raw deal, all we can hope is that we get to a point where things are dealt with fairly and as stress free as possible
