I dont think she has any of those pictured there, at the time of this pic she was dealing in old bikes with a friend of hers, so there are pics of us on all sorts when we were very small.

As for the sidecar she tells a good story of her first ride on a sidecar outfit (just the chassis as in the pic), taking it far to quickly round a corner, with her mate sat on the sidecar chassis clinging on for dear life. They were pulled over and she was booked for riding with an unbalanced load and the pc tried to find a way of charging him for being the unbalanced load!

Needless to say she has lots of tales!

I have made this before for veggies at Christmas, and now end up making it even when we dont have veggies over – it seems fiddly but works really well, and looks great too.

Merkaba has been mentioned a few times as has bohemian and one of the staff recommend a bar that was good for older people (as the rest were for 18-19 year olds and we wouldnt like them apparently! ) can’t remember the name of it but I guess there would be no steps up to the dance floor and stannah stair lifts everywhere steps were unavoidable!

Were at the grand hotel, hopefully its as grand as it sounds. I think I have more flexibility on thursday night. Just looked at the schedule networking dinner Wednesday followed by optional 8am breakfast workshop

In a bike shop the other day with children no3 and no4 looking at new mountain bikes, I said I thought they had enough bikes already (just got a new road bikes!) – to which no3 turned round and said

‘We need n+1 bikes mum – like you always say, buy I think I’ll be ok after I get a baby fatty’

luckily they were with me when I asked about them at on one – no one in the showroom had a clue, so I managed to convince the boys they were only an idea . . For now

Having not been on a pootle before what’s the etiquette with names? Personally you can call me whatever you want, but do people generally use when you only know each other from a forum? I just envisage not knowing who anyone (bar the odd one or two) is and getting flustered trying to rember whos who when everyone could have two names
