Hopefully I won’t get that label – being a single mother I’ve had many labels but not that one!

Christmas nerf war is definitely the way forward – the kids look forward to it as much as the presents (well most of them do the larger hungover ones take a little longer to get in the spirt of it – but hey they shouldn’t celebrate so much on Xmas eve!)

I am usually safe in the kitchen with my chefs hat

my boys used these in the winter at that age – i’m sure i got them in a sale somewhere for a lot less than this polaris hoolie

and although i don’t recommend decathlon as much as used to these are still worth a trip – bargain, which is especially good when you know they are going to be covered in mud a lot of the time

I got a 15″ white 603 for my lad of about that height.

I was very impressed with it – so light compared with the 13 1/2″ trek I bought for his brother at the same time.

It was over 500 when I got it but you can pick them up cheaper now

It’s more for a Christmas present type thing, I’ve had a look at the cordings and pantherella – they seem more like it

They are for wearing under office shoes, and as the wearer spends 50% of his time in Dubai i think fine natural fibre ones would be best. i see that knitted fabrics are stretchy – but there is a limit to their stretch surely? I just want to get him some nice ones that fit properly 🙂

Hammy – it’s my Daughter’s boyfriend so i guess she must be the lucky girl!

Consider Superstar’s Tech 4 DS25 wheelset. 25% off everything there today takes them under £150/pair.

ooh i will take a look – i had a pair of superstar wheels a few years back but haven’t had experience of these ones.

I was thinking the same this weekend, I had a bad off in June and despite trying and occasionally overcoming it the fear of gravel corners can make me completely lock up. Which obviously stops me getting round the corner at all. Really frustrating, I did the Wessex ridgeway double a while back and felt I’d conquered it by the end, but no I was as jittery as ever this weekend in Scotland. I need either a skills course or hypnotherapy 😯

Brilliant – nothing beats the new bike feeling!

My daughter lived and still spends a lot of time in dms – but she does moan at me for not teaching her how to walk in heels. Wouldn’t be a problem except she models – something quite sweet about her looking uber glamorous but slightly like a baby gazelle taking its first steps 🙂

Can’t stand handbags, and yes I’m female, why lug so much stuff around – phone keys money, what more do you need? – i just don’t get the need to lug something the size of an overnight bag around with you.

I don’t think a lot of people who actually take part in BDSM would agree with the comments about abusive relationships.

Maybe when thrown out to the masses in the this way it may be inspiring abusive idiots to add it to their ways to excert control. But to be fair abusive people will find ways to abuse irrespective of what’s going on around them.

Maybe it may inspire a fee people who think it might be fun to have ago – and they may like it 😉

Being a girl I can say I’m with CG – i haven’t and won’t read the books, don’t find the guy remotely appealing and am not fussed about seeing the films.

I am sure Mr Whoppit is right it will not be anywhere near as good as the secretary.

Personally I don’t see anything wrong with the subject matter – I just don’t understand why it has to be delivered so badly.

My son asked me to buy him some Tom Ford noir for Christmas – but I refused as I didn’t like it, yes I know it isn’t for me to like but still I asked him to rethink. Maybe it works on older men better but it wasn’t right on him.

I quite like Prada luna Rossa, but as everyone else has said it’s not important. Clean, with fresh clothes and brushed teeth is way more important 🙂

These are the sort they do in staples – I’m sure I got them in the sale or on a deal though so may be worth keeping an eye on them – they are very strong Really useful boxes

poundstretcher do lots of different sorts and sizes. Dunelm also do. I seem to remember getting a bargain at staples who do some really sturdy ones – it was a while ago though.

Have just bought one to put on, only really wanted 36 on the back when I ride in Wales as it doesn’t seem to be such a problem in the peaks – climbs are shorter I guess.

I’d love to have some solid old doors – unfortunately I live in a 1960’s house where the walls are made of eggshells and the weight would probably pull the walls down :/

Ooh when you say drain tube shoved in to plumbing pipe – I take it you mean where the hose joins the household waste water pipe? I already disconnected all the waste pipes and made sure they were draining but it really does just appear that nothing much is coming out of the drain pump.

Thanks for the offer – but im in sheffield. Will investigate getting this one fixed as it matches everything else in the kitchen 🙂

I would have to dust of a few brain cells but im sure when we touched on hair and eye colour in genetics it was a bit more complicated than one pair of genes. I think there are about 5 with some that are closely located on the chromosone. Some combinations are therfore rarely seen – like light ginger hair and dark brown eyes etc.

I am one of a pair of children from two very dark brown haired parents I was blonde as a child and my brother was dark, we have both ended up with the same dark brown hair.

Of my four (fathers dark blonde) one is an adult with dark blonde hair, but the other three look like they will end up dark. Even though one was blonde when he was small, one was already dark (and hairy!) And the third. . . . If I hadnt seen him come out I would have questioned whether he was mine as he definitely had a red tinge! (Nothing against it it was just a shock!)

Seem to have kept on track – well I can demolish a pack of stollen bites in the same time I was managing last year. . . Still riding but not getting time to go out as much as id like but the weather isnt a factor. Will get the turbo trainer out soon so my new slinky xmas frock keeps it’s slinkly look rather than becoming a shrink wrap look 😯
