Its the camping one not hookup to camper hookup to 3 pin plug sockets! Campsite hookup to a circuit breaker box with normal plugs sockets in like a extension lead! Hope this makes sense 🙂

I’ve got a 1966 beetle in my lock up…. Been using it for years, it’s in a nice area, but recently some kids broke into my and 5 other people’s garages, took everything out of my garage but the actual car ! Police came shut the door and fooled off, kids came back and robber stuff from inside the car…. Grrrrr

Solution=

Fitted a door stop bar that’s bolted into the floor INSIDE the garage and stop the door being opened when the big bar is on the outside… Plus I fitted 2 x dead bolts with decent padlocks to either side of the door.

On the way to coed y Benin this mornin i saw going the other way a brand new porche boxter (soft top) with a roof rack and 2 bikes on it ! …. I didn’t even know you could put a rack on a cabrio! It flashed buy so didn’t get a decent look, wouldn’t mind seeing how it was done Tbh

think of it as a sort of “right of passage” into the wonderfl world of SPD’s lucky you didn’t give yourself a chain ring “tattoo” on your calf like I did LOL

I had a trek go bug, it was AWSUM ! But if it’s just for the one child look at ” chariot ” there da bomb, if you can afford it.

Call her insurance and see what they say, and also go get a couple of quotes to repair your bike….. Have you been checked out for injurys ? Might want to consider a trip to the docs just to be sure.

I had a Trek Go Bug it was super light, and brilliant to tow. cost £400 new, sold it for £200 5 years after I got it… the kids loved it to bits, and really didn’t want to see it go 🙁

Oh… And to make it even better the race engineers mrs is Maxine FIlby who is a world xc mtb racer… She’s ranked as 167 in the world at the moment. I was blown away by that too.

It sure is who you know, and I’m so great full to Pete for inviting us along for the curry, meeting him in the pit garage was awesome enough. Lol

He was a proper nice bloke, and it’s for that reason that I didn’t even ask to have a pic with him…. Even tho it killed me to not ask! He was so down to earth, and it was great to be privileged enough to chill with him and his pit boys + their girlfriends, the night before a race.

I was amazed by the “no special diet” thing too… But he had a chicken tika main ( no sauce) pilau rice, plain naan, and a bottle of sparkling Perrier water.

like I said still blown away that it actually happened…

I’ll see your lockers and onsite Gym, and raise you a £3000 C2W limit, warm towels, a bike shop on site, free labour and servicing and paid £1 per day to spend in said shop. I’m just about to order my Rudy Project Rydons from this year’s commuting . Private Sector Rocks
Lockers aren’t any use for drying clothes. We have limited hanging space, but there isn’t an easy solution. An extra set of clothes carried in can help. Or keep some old cycling clothes at work only for when it rains.

We don’t have a bike shop onsite as such but we do have an equipped free bike workshop. The local Hargroves come in sometimes for a company paid for drop in session for people who can’t/don’t want to do their own maintenance.

£1k CTW here but they GIVE you £60 a year to spend on anything sports related plus match pound for pound anything you spend. Biking stuff is therefore effectively less than half price

And isn’t you bike actually ONLY secured by the two bottle mount bolts ! Remove them or the part of the lock reel attaching them, and hey preto!

The bottle lock s a much more polished design, IMO .

Only thing to watch is what rear cassette your running, I was running a 10 speed SRAM cassette on my old wheel set, however the rivets in it fouled the spoke flange on the CB wheels, so I had to switch to a shimano cassette. Give the guys at 2pure a call there pretty helpful, there the distributors BTW

Give me a shout if you want some more info as I really did my research before buying them.

…. Oh and ignore those that say there crap cos of a review they read, rather than actually owning some !
