right. thanks chaps. currently running 34t on the front and kinda like to keep this on as it’s a relatively new ring. was contemplating putting on an old road cassette on (11-26) but would seem a bit harsh now.. will try with 11-32 for now and take it from there. not really keen on spinning low gears, but, might not have much choice 🙄
surely i’m missing the point of mountain biking then. at one with nature etc…
mind to be fair, most of my rides are done from home so no muddy car to worry about 😳
have to say as a local i don’t normally ride the kitchener as i’m not a big fan, but, came home with a smile on my face today after a couple of laps. there have been improvements since i last rode it, and i was pleasantly surprised! 😳
i’ve had mine out for about half a dozen rides and seem to think i’ve got it spot on now. just play about with pressures and settings, it will come. bought mine with enduro 6 in mind too!
the top of the tyre is visible, shocks are the right ones, sourced of the chassis no.
load sensors are in brake lines so dont think they’re the problem. cant say as there is a definite camber on the wheels.
only way i can describe how it sits is, it’s like i’ve got a fully loaded boot full of bricks and suspension is on its limit.
doesn’t sound promising then. have to say, all this is leading me to think that maybe it is a snapped torsion bar, or even worse, BOTH! the car does sit flat and level all round, just unusually low at the back
rode x2 at cannock and was really impressed.
think i'm looking for something racier as i'm fetting into this racing lark, never been a big fan of airtime anyway
i can usually get up there for about 5.30
as thefallguy says, there's loads up there if you stray off the beaten track. i can spend a good 3-4 hrs up there and not touch the same trail twice. maybe even longer some days 😀
