    Yes, mustard here. First ride was lots of fun – playful feel (and it looks cool!)

    Great looking frameset and build too. Resisting the urge to check out their website!

    Mustard for me! Something a little different to the usual colours. The ochre Scrambler looked great 😁

    I was considering silver parts but will probably stick with black…

    Waiting (semi patiently) for mine…..it will be in addition to a fat bike and an FS. I had a mk2 Stooge a while ago and have always missed it a bit. I also ran a 29+ Krampus for a bit which was fun and probably similar to the Dirtbomb.

    I have two sets of wheels and will see what works best / what mood I’m in: 29+ Mulefuts with 3″ DHF/Chronicle or WTB KOM i29 with 2.6″ XR4/XR2. Full 29+ is probably the way, despite the weight!

    I’ll be running 1×11 SLX and some ‘normal’ riser bars rather than Stooge bars.

    I’ve used a couple of sets of Microshifts – a really good ‘click’ action on the rear when using the indexed mode. They seem durable and reliable. I do sometimes absent-mindedly knock them with my knee when stopped on the gravel bike but it’s not a big deal.

    Agreed on Chris Buck – a lot of talent in those fingers!

    I have a Stooge Scrambler on order so will be selling my Large Stache frame in purple and a Chinese Carbon fork shortly….never run SS by me though. Drop me a line if interested. I have a Kona Unit for SS duties…

    Having lived in/near both cities I’d suggest either N-NW Leeds or SW Birmingham.

    We’re currently in the countryside near Bromsgrove with a nice village centre and a 20min train journey to Brum. The NW Alps-style riding is close by as are the M5/M6, M42/M1 and M40.

    I’m starting to replace my lock ons with ODI Longnecks. I ride with gloves but they feel good without, a nice old school feel.

    I’ve not built mine up yet…mid house renovation and other bike projects on the go as well!

    The first frame had some damage and a QC issue which really should have been spotted before leaving them. A replacement frame was (slowly) sorted out by Alpkit which although not 100% will do.

    Recently built mine up – done a few rides on it now.
    Not light but it feels ‘planted’ / comfortable and when loaded up won’t be such an issue!
    It’s complimentary to my other ‘fast’ gravel bike.

    The build is a bit of a parts bin special with:
    3×10 SLX/XT 40/30/22 and 11-36 using Microshift BS-M10 bar end shifters
    MTN BB7’s with Tektro RL520 levers (comfy!)
    Holdsworth silver post/stem, Charge Spoon
    Selcof Serrato bars with Cinelli Camo tape
    Alex/Novatec/Chosen wheels
    WTB Venture 700 x 50c tyres

    @jolmes – good luck with the move! Back in the day my first house was next door to the corner shop at the other side of the Leeman Road area…

    Can’t directly help but have nearly finished a PD ALICE build. I’m hoping it will be my all round on/off road tourer! I’d have thought that the two are similar, with the Fargo leaning a little more on the mtb side of things with increased tyre clearance?

    Listening to a bit of Andy Timmons at the moment – tasteful, melodic, not too polished.

    Dove – what was the name of the Chinese fabricator? I think I asked you this before but have forgotten.

    @andykirk

    I believe it was Waltly, I have a Waltly frame (purchased second hand from the original owner) which has been great for me…background here:

    Is that the Waltly I had built and definitely shouldn’t have sold? How are you getting on with it?

    @IvanDobski
    – yes it is! A great bike for exploring all surfaces. Only changes are a 34t up front (and about to go 38t) and 50c G-One Ultrabites. Sorry you’re missing it!

    I purchased some ICAN rims and there was a shipping option which included VAT and import duty. I’m sure it was less than I would normally have expected…(possibly a low declared value!)

    Currently doing a 30 day yoga with Adriene programme before work each morning. She is good, although I must try out the mtb-specific one…
