Why do you want to go from a Boardman FS to a hardtail?

It’s a 2014 team model and is very tired now after a lot of miles.
It’s still more than capable but most on here will know what it’s like when you get that itch for a new bike. This would not be to accompany the Boardman it would be a replacement.

I did look at a new FS model but thought that with my budget I would prefer a higher end Hardtail rather budget FS.
Haven’t ridden a Hardtail properly in over 6 years so maybe I’m kidding myself it will be more enjoyable than a FS.

I’m 26. When if got my first job at 17 I was paying £20 per week rent to the folks.
Seemed more than fair to me at the time, also paid my own mobile bill.

To my parents it wasn’t about the money but just teaching me some responsibility.

Cracking spec for the price, great looking bike too.

IMO he did it on purpose, can’t see how that could ever be proved though so there won’t be any subsequent action taken of it is being investigated.

Can’t believe the stuff you mentioned in the first post isn’t standard!
Recently bought a new build from Redrow and all was included.

Other extras I got them to add we’re outside tap, outside power sockets, security light on garage at end of the drive.
Upgraded to a halogen hob instead of gas and extra tv aerial points.

The mrs enjoys a Bombay Sapphire with tonic water and slice of lemon.
