Yeah, after getting a bruise just bellow my nipple from the back of my saddle (I didn’t come off, I just have a high saddle!), I’m getting a dropper 😀 .

Thanks Guys, very useful. I’ll just man up and ride them as I would my old wheelset!

Yep, non-finned aftermarket pads are available about as easily as an other pads. Superstar ones are the cheapest I’ve heard of.

If this hasn’t already been done to death:
    1) You’re effectively finding the average, add the two togeather and divide by 2.
    2) If he’s done any algebra: 1.25x = 12500 so x = 12500÷1.25 =10000
    Hope that helps!

My two pence for a mix of bridleway and trail riding:

In the dry, Maxxis Advantage 2.25 rear – fast rolling, big volume and decent grip for anything but mud.
Nobby Nic 2.25 snakeskin font- better grip than the advantage, pretty fast rolling but wears way too fast to ever use on the back.

When the rain comes down, stick a Bontrager mud x on the rear – really good grip in mud, light and fast for a mud tyre but not great on rocks and root ( to small volume when used on a hardtail for one thing) so I put the advantage back on for trail centres.

I’ve ridden the corkscrew a few times on a 120mm hardtail. Adittedly you have to slow down a bit to pick lines but I reckon its just as fun!

@nejee20 – he wants £3800, certainly not buying it for that though. TBH it looks too suspiscious to buy with a clear consience anyway!

@mrmo – Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I’ll stick a post up asking if anyone’s lost one.

Thanks guys! My Dad got chatting to the owner of this bike in the street as he’s looking into buying a Ti hardtail. The owner then turned up at my Dad’s work ( my dad had given him his business card ) trying to sell it to him. Long and short of it is that my Dad didn’t get any contact details from the guy but reckons he’ll bump into him at some point so could still buy it if he wanted. We’re trying to work out what its worth (the owner was talking about £3800!!).
