In the words of ctbms bestest sticker-‘every time you change gear God kills a kitten’

    Food for thought eh!!

Well, now I am definitely sticking with gears. And also getting a really widely spaced cassette so i have to keep shifting all the time. If it means less poo in my garden from the neighbours cats I’m all for it!!

I ride a triple up front! Just putting that out there for support of others. You are all keeping quiet but I know you are out there feeling slightly ashamed.

I’ve heldheld on to my childhood mentality, the more gears the better

Our office manager totally failed when organising our Christmas party last year. He told us all the wrong date and when we turned up at the brewery they just weren’t ready for us

All the Beer and no idea

I’ve got another 4 of these by the way… It’s helped keep my mind occupied at work!

@theswedishchef if you’d like to take over the updates on this one please do, I don’t want to tread on your toes so to speak! Cheers

Yeah, it’s to be expected when someone has tried to pull the wool over your eyes. It’s turning into quite the yarn.

It’s an interesting mix of riders. Definitely hard to judge. Looking forward to seeing the domestic guys in the breakaways. Also interested to see what alex dowsett can do, having missed out on the tdf

What you need to do is wire up a couple of mains smoke alarms that are set to go off constantly then go away on holiday without leaving any contact details. Another STWer can tell you how bad that is.

What tyres for a norovirus ridden floating hotel?

Seriously though it is a balance of workhard now and then have quality time off at the end having made good money. How do you cope when things are a grind? I worked similar hours for a shorter contract and felt a bit burnt out at the end of it. This was a different industry though.

+1 for watersmeet. Not sure if north Devon is within 4 hours though.

Pro tip, prior to dinner run down into the bay and write something obscene on the sand. Then enjoy listening to everyone commenting on it in the restaurant!

More grown up individuals have used the same opportunity to write something nice…

My last bike was from them. Great discount and quick to deliver. Haven’t had to do anything with customers service but buying was painless

I don’t have a clue what would be realistic but I always felt that the film Way of the Gun seemed quite real. Apart from the big shoot up at the end

Yep, I saw this with my kid.

Love the shiny shirt but the delivery was a bit freaky in an American way. I also liked Simon Peggs story reading.

Last time I went I had to satisfy a scotchman in the bedroom. Don’t think that is a popular part of the tourist route so go for goudi cathedral and gothic old town instead!

Some might say it’s the perfect setup. Probably some custom frames for this style already out there.

Which wheel size is best to make the doggers come alive?

I once saw a vicar praising gods beauty with his organ but I don’t think he was a bona fide member of the clergy. Very odd

As another kili cromo owner I too would be interested to hear of others experiences in this area?

The frame does feel like it would handle slightly longer forks.

Come on Wiggo! And big cheers for Alex Dowsett too.

Hard to see past Tony Martin for the win though. I like him as a rider but not so fun from the Brit perspective

Well, you‘ll all be riveted to hear that we had a great day, the sun came out and it wasn’t too wet. I,did feel a bit overbiked on my yamaha yz250. It is a full suspension so it dulled the trails a bit too much. Will stick to my afternoon run down rangers path Snowdon I think.
