    Me,

got a nearly 3 week old baby and a wife suffering with a nasty hematoma so I’m on baby duty (with a bottle of Tanglefoot).

    Happy New Year

    yeah, both mtbs got 25.4.

the steel salsa got steel forks and steel bars, plenty stiff enough, never felt battered by the combo either.

    It makes me laugh.

Visit bikeradar for some real anger. Like, proper outrage, that someone spends £160 or something on a jacket that keeps you warm and dry.

    LOL.

“I told him I didn’t like his shop, or people from Manchester”. Classic.

Why oh why does Rapha rattle peoples cages so much?

It’s well designed and well made.

when I know there’s a camera ahead and there’s a chavved up hatchback behind…i make sure I slow down in plenty of time to let the chav floor it as he overtakes me.

It’s kind of a public service

    +1. Me too 😆

    Pint of lemonade, that is..

I seen a guy trying to take griff’s glove off his hand while his was shaking hands at the front of the crowd…it was a gesture politely rebutted. 😆

I was gonna go but for some reason I decided against it, i was in the front row of some of last nights footage though…

    Great band.

and who knew dave pearce was some kind of hip hop scholar?

Dave pierce is a real hip hop head, a real champion for the music back in the 80’s.

I saw the spesh top too. Who’d have thought hip hoppers would ride bikes. 😉

    Good documentary.

a po-po in a car tried to tell me i was breaking the law riding along an A road. And was quite rude when I told him that I couldn’t hear what else he was chuntering on about as the wind noise at 30mph+ was drowning him out….

Everywhere, which really means just local in the east midlands. I’ve no thoughts about putting the sus forks back on any time soon.

It’s a good idea, if the majority of your riding suits it.

I now have 2 ss’s, gears are in the shed, just in case, but i’ve been solely ss for most of this year. It’s slower overall, but, i’m enjoying the obvious benefits of no fettling, less cleaning, less thinking. just get on and push them pedals. lovely.

The problem is not Wenger it’s the board, that said I’m not sure how long he’ll be around.

agreed, we do seem to be run by people who are primarily concerned by the share prices above anything else.

the thing is, who else out there is better, given the financial restraints arsene has?

the rap v hip hop argument is false.

they are neither different nor the same but just different words used to describe the same thing.

like in the bike world, we like to get elitist and create a little bit of niche for ourselves.

i agree with joolsberger about that documentary. rodney’s a decent fellow (he’s a good mate of a friend of mine), but it was a documentary aimed at people who like black eyed peas rather than old school hip hop heads.

some stuff i like and, therefore would recommend are

    kool keith
percee p (both old school bronx mc’s)
people under the stairs – fun time rap
illa funk (grand verbaliser) – philly mc, i like philly hip hop
    respek ba – glasgow mc
blade – retired london mc but very good

    there’s tons out there

Nowadays most bars are ctoc but not all!

FWIW, I have a 38″ chest but like wide bars (44cm ctoc) as it opens the chest up and helps when climbing out the saddle. Personally, I find narrow bars a hinderance when climbing.

    Size does make a difference!

May I suggest Groovy Cycleworks Luv Handles.

I have found them excellent (have never tried Jones H bars to compare them against)
