My conscience is clear, I certainly did not vote Conservative. Saying the Government should be more supportive to certain sections of society, doesn’t pay the bills. We are certainly not all in this together. I know of several people looking forward to the next lockdown or period of self-isolation as it is regarded as an extra paid holiday. I feel as though I’m currently walking a tightrope, as I obviously have to work but in doing so will alomost certainly at some point be asked to self-isolate again which is another 10 days of no income.

The question surely has to be, “if we don’t unlock now when can we”. I’m now into my second year of vastly reduced wages without the benefit of been able to work from home. Each time I have to self-isolate I get no pay and no support from anyone. I can longer afford the luxury of not facing reality that this is something we have to live with. This virus has 99%+ recovery rate, it’s surely easier for the vunerable to isolate than the whole country.

I dont think the Chinese have “hidden” any more deaths than the UK.

This has to be one of the most ridiculous statements on this thread and there’s some stiff competition.

Mine has 140mm forks, I use it mainly for longer rides 20-40 miles as I have an enduro bike for more DH stuff. It does either type of riding really well.

Wouldn’t waste your time on this thread, all reason went out of the window months ago.

Yes, I’d run a 500lb before so I got a 500-600Lb progressive spring. If I hadn’t had a coil shock before I would get a cheap standard spring make sure I was in the right ballpark because I find most suspension tuners recommendations are to light and the progressive springs are pretty pricey. So far I’m really impressed with it even on the vivid which isn’t the most upto date shock.

I’ve got a MRP progressive coil on my Transition Patrol which is pretty linear, it’s nice and supple at the start with plenty of mid stroke support and it doesn’t blow through the travel. Seems to have the best parts of a coil and air shock with the only penalty being the weight. I did run a DHX2 with a 500lb spring a couple of years ago but that blew through it’s travel unless the HSC was almost closed, I’m currently running a Vivid with a 500-600lb spring.

Went for a local ride yesterday and today. It’s nothing like back in March, there is as much traffic as a normal day. In reality, it’s not that the rules are hard to understand, it’s that people are now tired of doing it.

I’d go for Superstar v6’s, 25% off at the moment. Been using their headsets and hubs for over a year now, just as good as Hope and a lot less money. I was long time Hope user but they’ve priced themselves out of contention for me.

Pondlife, your not going to get any form of debate on here, I’ve followed it from the start. As you can see it’s just accusations of trolling.
When some of the experts on here contribute to other threads on different sites their data is called into question and their lack of context is made apparent.

It took me several years to learn to manual, I intially thought it would just take a few months. I would keep your bike setup with what your comfortable with for allround riding.

Build quality of the RC2 is not as good as the original charger, lots of plastic parts. Just swapped a broken 2019 RC2 for 2016 RCT3 virtually no noticable performance difference.

Mine was like that, I bought a seal kit and rebuilt it. Now I just change the oil every few months. I had been running a coil shock but since I rebuilt the monarch spending time to bleed it properly, I much prefer it to the coil.

Mine does this when there’s air in the oil, really easy to take apart and service yourself or just change the oil.

My code didn’t work the first time but I’d copied and pasted it. I tried again, typing the code and it worked.

As I said earlier I had been having the same problem, my brakes were over a year old. No amount of lubing or resetting the pistons made any difference. A temporary fix was new pads, the old ones being half worn.
I have since rebuilt the caliper with new seals and pistons and the problem has gone. Over the year I had been lubing the pistons which I won’t been doing now, since I think caused excessive wear by attracting dirt. If mine had been 4 months old I’d have warrantied them.

Mine were doing the same, a new seal kit sorted it out.
