Top bananas for giving Schleck the chance to get back on.

Big mistake not competeing for the line. If I were a fan in Spa I'd be jolly pissed orf.

But controversy sells papers. Look forward to tomorrow, I don't think the race directors will be so understanding …

Aluminium does lack sufficient fracture toughness (? ), for bike frames.
Another reason why Litespeed has dropped the name litespeed ( )and became Lynskey, the warranty claims got too much.

    I'm embarrrassed for you!

TJ in 'I know better than you shocker'…

The car driver simply does not have the knowledge to make a valid judgement.

and now you're not allowed to argue!

FYI I have a car licence, motorbike, lgv, I cycle on the road and off road and I even ride horses. This equips to make the following judgement:

    TJ is a c&nt.

    I thankyou.

Climbing, it's really just a weight thing. It's lighter so it's easier to ride up hill and pop the front over stuff on the trail.

We've dealt with this before on STW, weight (or lack of) makes no difference at all.

What!!! Utter bollicks. Did you go to school? NO diffference at all? That's a bold statement!

So if I gave you a bike weighing say, a) 200lb and another weighing b) 20lb, which one could ride up a very big hill easiest? You could call bike a) a 'tandem' and the stokers fallen asleep… wouldn't be much fun going down either!

    What colour is your hair?

    Higgo, I'm sorry mate….

Those frames are an aesthetic nightmare, and they look unfinished!

    28lb? For a race bike that's pointless.

English football – overhyped crap. It's just a vehicle for making a few people very rich.

Who are the mugs? I feel very sorry for the travelling fans. Unlike Rooney I feel they've earned their right to boo!

It's a bit 'Jeff Jones' in that theres just too much plumbing going on.

They obviouslt started at the back because by the time they got too the front fork the were bored. At least teh wheels are theright size…

Time will tell, but paulrockliffe is truly amusing me with his endless justification for buying the ugliest bike of the moment

WTF is all this talk of spacers you nutters! If its 1.37 you can use it but you'll either have some threads sticking out (bung some lockrings on – I've got an unused pair  ) or live with it. Spacers? They're for external bb's. Were talking proper bb's here chaps!

I had King hubs on my roadbike a while ago. There was so much drag in the freehub the chain went slack freewheeling in the small cog, sometimes throwing the chain off.

Not funny descending the Glandon at 50mph+! It'll be interesting to see if the new road hubs are an improvement.

That FUGLY at any price is a mistake. How much for it second hand when you decide it's got to go. 50p?

My 27.2mm ti post flexes so much, I swear I have to point the saddle nose down to compensate.

Are you sure that's the seatpost 'flexing' just because it's Ti?

That is an aesthetic disaster 8O . Hope it rides better than it looks!

Carbon can look as sexy as ****, that looks like it was just pulled out the mould. Figuratively speaking.

Guy Martin is now my hero. Amazingly uncool but uber cool facial hair and an inredible ranting ability that puts the average STW moany pants to shame. GM for PM! Don't you just love people muscling in on a photoshoot?

Good to the point of excellence:
    Royce square taper bb's
    Easton EA70 stuff
    King headsets

    Not good:
Seemingly, anything made by Pace these days :(

I use 165mm on my track bike, 170mm on the fixie, 175mm on my mtb and 180mm on the s/s. And yes, there is a big difference in ride feel for me.

165mm on an mtb is definitely at the vertically challenged end of the spectrum…
