Bit of a thread hijack here , but I’d like to ask because i live in the south of France where hunting is extremely popular and during each season everyone is allowed in the local forest at the same time and a hunter recently turned and got me in his line of fire because he heard me through his ear defenders as i changed gear, which is a little concerning.
so my question is are all your hunting areas closed expressly for hunting then reopened or is everyone mixed in together including bikes ,horse riders , walkers etc , in the UK.

A wind proof top with full length front zip to regulate temperature as
required ,zip up side pockets so thermal hat and gloves can be removed and not lost ,leggings optional but if really cold HH do underpants with a wind proof front panel , keeps John Thomas well happy.

He forgot the Sweenie and the Professionals. Other than that, spot on.

    RIP Lewis Collins.

5’8″ small frame with a 70 stem ,tried a 50 but couldn’t get on with it i prefer the way a small bike rides and would rather adjust fit with different components.
Buy one, you won’t regret it.

I have it in UST rubber queens and it works fine , when i was looking into it i found a review which said it was fine for UST because the extra layer of rubber on the inside of the tyre means that the thinner fluid has a deeper hole to seal into and the fluid will last for the life of the tyre .
If you are on tubeless ready then i think it will not seal properly and Stan’s is the best solution.

    Hope this helps.

Don’t get me wrong, if I scratch it when riding then so be it, afterall, I’m a mountain biker in the uk and the weather doesn’t help! I just hate uneccesary marks that can be avoided. (Cue further abuse!)

Right there with you on that one , if my bike looks beaten up from use that’s just the scar’s of life but damage in transit is annoying.

26″ is fast, very fast and rock solid.
27.5″ is faster and more stable – a rocketship.
29’r felt slower when riding but was the fastest according to strava, felt a bit cumbersome on tighter sections but the speed it carried through other sections was astounding/made up for slower steering response on tighter sections.

He uses strava and i guess he’s got pretty much every section sewn up after riding the ripley (unless it’s the climbs)[/quote]

Could you please post the strava times then we can get a better idea of the difference.
    Thanks.

I have the Lev on one bike and Thompson on the other so after comparing them both i would get the Thompson it works better and is more solid.
They have been supplied in the states for over a year now and i have not found any online horror stories and lets face yanks shout loud when somethings not right.
