Yeah, the fat front gives a nice bit of comfort below 10psi. Below 8psi the drag on tarmac is a bit too much. But the grip is awesome, would have to be going some to wipe out front first.

Just had a massive ding dong with 23 year old daughter over having to start paying keep now she has a job. My wife and I thought £20 / week was a fair amount given she is earning £800/month. She is home for the summer until it the snow season starts again and can swan off with boyfriend for the ski season.

in the era they were popular I was using Panaracers and Onzas but I had a go on my mate’s bike which had Verts and on the loose pack trail we were on it was amazing, the front tyre just went where you pointed at all speeds.
