I have a 50w panel (in a sub-optimal position) and a leisure battery to power a chicken house door and a couple of leds. The panel doesn’t do much in the way of charging in the winter.

The 250w panel I have for fans and irrigation in the greenhouse does quite a lot and works fine (but doesn’t need to do much in the winter).

Basically you need a big panel and a big battery for use in the winter.

If you mean liquid mud, then JJs don’t work at all – they don’t cut through it. That’s about the only stuff I find a fat bike performs worse than a skinny bike.
