I’m surprised there aren’t sets of demo cranks in circulation so people can feel the claimed benefits for themselves.

    🤣🤣🤣

I usually stick up for the BBC, not anymore

Its not the bbc, its people in charge of the bbc, they want to gut it and ruin it.

Interesting statement. All groups? The insane, criminals? Removing the right to drive from old-timers? The rights of children to bear arms? Or just the rights of the entire world to come and settle in the UK no questions asked?

Nobody in the UK has the right to drive, you are given a licence based on competence and meeting some other conditions, same as guns.
What rights would you remove from the insane or criminals?
The entire world coming to settle here is a huge red herring.
We get very few refugees and asylum seekers compared to France and Germany.

I think giving Smith the confidence of a start may work wonders for him, and as others have said before, a wounded Farrell is a motivated Farrell so it might do him some good too.

Meanwhile, seeing the rest of the discussion about Wales up there, again, you have my sympathies, this looks like a major balls up.
At least Italy don’t have Capuozzo this week..

Yes, one answer will have the best numbers so wins but you may lose other things like flexibility. Also things like the feeling of having less debt hanging over you have to be factored in. Its a quantitative and a qualitive issue.

Of course, but the information exists in the ether to have both outputs. OP probably already knows the qualitative, what they “want” and has a desire to make the best decision. Best decision comes from using the maths to inform of possible outputs.

So you are receiving qualitative replies to a quantitative problem, or quantitative replies but based on other peoples circumstances.

This is easily solved with some maths.

    We need:
    Sum outstanding
    Current rate
    Fixed or variable
    Deal period
overpayment options – eg some morts limit to 10% per year.
balance sweeping (offsetting, less likely these days but there are some about)
    Redemption penalties
    Value of property
    Income
    Savings

we can then plot over time your financial status vs the error margins of predicted interest rates for borrowers and savers, and as a third option – if you could invest the money what might be the variability of the growth there.

Obvs this may all be too personal to post here, but get excel up and running, do some maths and you will have an answer.

agreed, since 27.5 and long/low/slack became a thing all enduro bikes have been excellent.
Your optimal bike now is personal preference, but most of the big brands follow the same format for a descent oriented bike.
look across the range of all major brands, Pick the one with the best colour, ride more, think about all this stuff less.
(Fit is the other thing, if you are very short or very tall, this becomes an issue, for most people it isn’t)

I sincerely hope that this drug won’t be abused by those just wanting to lose a stone or two without the effort and discipline required.

Prejudiced much? Obesity is a disease, it can be incredibly difficult to lose weight, hence the prevalence of obesity.
As a previously reasonably fit, now very fat person I have struggled for the last 20 years.
Telling people to have self discipline implies “eat less” is like asking them to not drink when they are thirsty or not breath when they are out of breath.

The first ones I had used to hum when you plugged them in, was very annoying by my bed.
So replaced them, no more hum during use, and the Sparkie mentioned these ones only turn on when plugged in so the transformer is only active when charging. They are MK, can’t remember what the old ones were.

Landlord here, we have a small portfolio of domestic rentals(less than 20 properties) , our main business is commercial rentals and fit outs, maintenance etc. But its a family business and I inherited a spot on the board about 20 years ago and discovered my uncle had been quietly buying domestic rentals through the company, which it turns out were a good business move.
Anyway part of my role is to run these domestic rentals, and send out our trades to solve issues etc.
So I have my finger on the pulse in terms of where our costs and rental demand are going.

Demand right now is soaring, but if you came to me from the end of Nov through to late Jan, and I had any vacant props, then I’d be happy to negotiate.
Right now I can’t keep up with enquiries for the 2 vacant properties we had, I say had as we signed the 2nd one today.

If you were dealing with an estate/lettings agent, I think it would be a lot harder, but of you go private or with a small lettings company like ours, then the owners are much more likely to be in a position to discuss. An agent will just be an employee with no control. As you rightly stated, looking for props that have been on the market a bit longer gives you more leverage, but then why have they been on longer? It might not be a nice house or nice area.

If its a nice house in a nice area, then in my short experience, there is no such thing as too expensive.

Like the others have said, I am sure it will be fine but I  would say be very aware of seemingly innocuous questions.
“Has your boss ever asked you to do anything for work using your car?” (Using car for work, claim disallowed)
etc etc. just be very cautious how liberal you are with details.
My FIL  had a stroke at 58 and took years to recover, the insurance company visited him and one of the q’s asked was if he ever cycled, he told them all about his cycling exploits up to his late 40s. Ins co claimed he was fit as he cycled regularly. All the Drs and hospital evidence was there, he is crippled due to the stroke. Took 12, yes 12 years, of fighting with insurance co and ombudsman to get his life insurance payout.
I dropped my brand new mobile in the kitchen and got 3 phone calls from the ins co asking all kinds of sideways questions. In the end they paid out for a new phone but I felt like I was in the supreme court on a murder charge.
Note -I since discovered lots of house insurers refuse to quote if you have made a mobile phone claim.

I have also sold a fair bit of stuff to local people who only seem to have FB friends in their home country. Maybe they are lonely and friendless in their new land?
    See what transpires?

What I find repulsive about all this, as a bloke, is that he gets respect for “tricking” girls into bed, using body language, persuasion techniques, deception, just for a shag.
    It’s kinda grim.

     latching before contact,

    Is legal isn’t it?
(I was on an rfu course a while back where they demoed drills to train for this, would be hella funny if it was illegal)

Edit – we were told one latcher was legal only – it seems that is the case?

Literally completing a phishing awareness course (thats pretty good) and then clicking a link in a bait email sent by the employer which auto-enrols them back onto the course, and repeat three times over in the space of a few months, as well as everyone having to do it annually anyway

On the other side of this, my bank loves to email me with links to log in, and call me and start asking for security questions. You would think they would learn not to do it also.

    This is frankly awful.
    https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/rugby-news/twelve-welsh-rugby-players-earning-26323668

How can you build a national team if you don’t pay the club players properly, this is bad news as it seems like it will make it really hard for Wales to be internationally competitive.
    What a real shame.

I didn’t know about Jack Betts, but I woudl apply the same to him, he should not have stripped of his citizen ship.

She isn’t a UK citizen so how can she be brought back here to face justice?

She was, and should have been, how can you not see that?

AA to be fair to AWJ from our point of view he was a pain in the arse. That is his job I think.
Wales were lucky that Farrell was having an off day or it would have been 30-10.
Agreed about Grady, and Christ. You do have some new talent and when they find the rest of the new squad you will back to all guns blazing. Reffell was good too.

Torygraph thinks Farrells tenure is limited.

The same could not be said of Farrell, who surprisingly was the weakest link in the England back line. His kicking at goal was well below par, missing four attempts and at times seemed every more uncertain with his kicking out of hand, knocking one cross-field effort straight into touch, and failing to put the Wales back three under enough pressure.
What would have encouraged Borthwick however was that a second game in succession for Lawrence and Slade proved to be much more effective. One wonders when George Ford returns to full fitness if the England captain could find his position under threat.

A word on logic and thought.

    This

What crimes is she alleged to have committed anyway?

    And this

Certainly none in the UK surely? So why bring he back to face justice? For what?

In the same statement, disagree with the argument to deprive her of her citizenship.

She has not committed a crime in the UK , so why can the UK punish her?
EG your 17 your old son is accused of having sex with a 16 year old girl whilst on holiday in America.
He returns to the UK before the accusation comes to light, he cannot be extradited to the US, because it is not a crime in the UK.
Or should we deprive him of his citizenship because it is alleged he committed a crime abroad, perhaps he even admits he he had sex with her?

Can you see that your statements do not add up? They are logical failures.
You cannot have a punishment without a crime, and you admit you very charitably think she has not committed a crime.
Those of us who are less charitable think she may have committed a crime, but in order to find out we think she should be dragged back to her home country and tried and if necessary, punished here and rehabilitated back into the society she has wronged.

Dissapointing from wales, you ran out of ideas in the last 10 mins, made it easy for quite a sedate effort from england. Sorry to do you down, but I was honestly expecting some fireworks.
England did get the defence mostly sorted, for me I think that was what won it really.
The england attack from kicking is the dullest thing in history and seems to have the lowest return rate of anything.

    Kryters, agree.
Wales are flattering England. Wales with no ruck support, the kicking is crap but a bit forgivable as both Steward and Malins are deadly, at least Englands defence seems better, but this is a quite a crap game from both sides.
The danger here is that Wales are much more likely to suddenly wake up, eg that 15 phase attack looked good, and we know England seem to trot along at the same pace.
I still think this is Wales game to lose.
