I have the very same one from Maplins

Very good for degreasing chains & cassettes, although a XT 11-32 only just fits in and you do have to turn it over to clean it properly

Also cleaned mechs & jockey wheels in it

well worth the money @ £17, stuff comes up sparkling with a little Fenwicks in the cleaner.

I hate how they look, but love how they ride, so I bought one. (twice seen as one was nicked)

Seen as it's a 430 mile round trip, I'll give it a miss.

However if anyone does one further oop North I'd be interested

    Good luck y'all.

Balding, nope, more hair than I know what to do with on my head, so I just let it do what it wants
    Overweight, 10.5st & 5'10ish, so nope
Relationship incompetent….well it's been a while so **** knows if I am or not.

Almost forgot, they are less noisy than square bars too (on similar cars)

    echo echo

    echo…

Yes you do have to slide the carriers off, but it's not hard or fiddly.

Yes they are held on by 3 T bolts, but they are secure, even with a 28lb bike up top & a bit of Colin McRae inspired driving on the back roads.

    Just as secure
    Easy removal of carriers
Better fuel economy (supposedly, I have no reference point as the square bars I had were on a different car to the aerobars)

have you read the manual? pg 7 tells you how to do it.

PDF link on this page (under fitting instructions), if you do not have the manual: http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4_tab.php/car-accessories/thule_proride_aluminium_cycle_carrier_no_591/njNA_vVotQS84bRMCktLGSo.9oO2bzgo9bQdIV6t

    Nokia 5210 & 5410i

    Shock proof & splash proof

I own both & they are almost indestructible

5410i is newer & a better phone, but crap camera, crap internet, if you want a phone to make calls & send texts it works well.
