My 1st ATB/MTB was a 1986? Raleigh Mustang in black & white with red logo's, 15spd, heavy as a house. Good fun though once you got up to speed.

The bike I always wanted was the purple Muddy Fox Courier, it was leagues ahead of the ATB's I was riding at the time (Falcon, Raleigh, Claud Butler) or so I thought, maybe it was just that disc rear wheel, or the paw print on the top of the seeatstays…or just that it was purple…

Airsoft is awesome, much more fun than Paintballing IMO

I have attached every single reflector in the shop to the boss's bike, along with ball bearings down the bars & wheels full of spokey dokeys & streamers on his bar ends, kinda a Mod equivalent MTB rather than a 'Bretta or Vespa

It took a while, but was worth it to see the look on his face, he thought that once he'd removed all the crap from the bike that was that.

Next morning he spent almost an hour trying to find where that f@!?ing rattling was coming from…

Used them several times for bikes, might be cheaper couriers for forks though.

I think it might be a Proflex, not a SC of any description that I know of.

Way overkill on the forks too, how high is that BB!?!

I changed my name for a laugh (from my real name) & got caught out when the ability to change name was removed :(

I do however love Orange bikes, so it kinda fits.

Unless you can find a shop with one in stock in your size you will be very hard pushed to find a Fritzz, there are none in the Cube Distribution centre in Holland, unless you wait for the 2011 version (release date not known at this time)

We did have a Fritzz a little while ago, but it sold pretty quickly, almost the perfect do it all bike.

I use one @ home & we have one in the workshop @ work, haven't found a chain that it can't split yet (BMX or geared).

The one in the workshop is at least 8 years old & mine is about 5 years old, both are still going strong.

Standover of the Kid 260 is ~68cm

Standover of the 17" WLS is ~72cm

I think we have both those sizes in the WLS Access, the geometry should be on the Cube website, if not I'll measure those too.

Edit: Hmm no standover figures on the site, will measure them for ya.

    Any other measurements you'd like?

No catch with our 0% finance.

10% deposit, rest is split over how long you want to take it over.

No discounts on 0% finance though as we pay the interest for you.

I'd imagine that most retailers do the same as we do. (We don't stock Giant)

You are not supposed to buy parts, the C2W form that the retailer claims the money back from the scheme needs a frame number on it.

We were told (by cyclescheme) that you can't even have a cycle computer on the C2W scheme after a few were bought on the scheme

Yes you could cheat the system, but they are clamping down on misuse of scheme.

I'd say that if enough people misuse the scheme it will be stopped & no one will have the chance of getting a discount on a bike

It was a computer error, but not @ Winstanleys or CRC.

There was a computer cock up which triggered the price reduction, so I'm told by a reputable source.

Nothing to do with demo bikes, shop soiled or last one in the shop.

I've had AS for about 17 years (Sacroiliatic area, spine & chest)

I take painkillers (Tramodol HCL SR) & anti inflammatories (Aceclofenac) twice daily, 4 tablets in all

Physio does help, as does keeping active, if I stay sat for too long or have a massive lie in I pay for it with more stiffness & general aches

I have good days & bad days, the good certainly outweigh the odd bad day.

I still ride as hard & fast as I dare pretty much without a thought to AS

Santac what meds are you on?

Sold lots of Cubes this year

No probs with any of the roadbikes

Great feedback from the owners too.

No date for 2011 stuff yet, it will probably be near the year end from what I know

chameleon78 which bikes have you seen on offer & whereabouts?

Hungaroring is usually the most boring race of the season.

I'll be pottering round the house whilst listening to it after watching the 1st few laps to see if anything interesting happens.

Hope it turns up, I know what it's like to have a bike go AWOL, my '06 5 is still MIA

I'll keep an eye out for ya too, I'm not local to you but I do know that not all high end bikes get stripped for parts, some get sold as is, even on eBay/Gumtree etc…

I've suffered from sacro illiac pain for years

Initially the GP thought it was related to the Sciatica type symptoms I had

Chiro thought differently & asked for the GP to refer me to the local hospital for further tests

After tests it was confirmed that I have Ankylosing Spondylitis, which can display similar symptoms.

Well worth finding out the route cause of the problem, if you don't already know

I have some pretty strong painkillers & anti-inflammatories, along with physio exercises it helps keep the pain levels down, but I do still get flare ups

Yup, test ride em if you can

AMS Pro/Anthem are more wheels on the ground XC/trail bikes

AMS 125 is a burlier version of the Pro designed for a bit more abuse

I have an AMS Pro R1, very fast & nimble, superb at climbing, loads of grip. It's withstood a bit of airtime too (nothing major, just regular xc/trail stuff)

Manufacturers can & do change the specs of bikes.

Contact the supplier for details of the spec you will receive.

Trout, it depends, but usually it's the lack of the original box & shock pump as they're bought in bulk

Sometimes the steerer is cut, or the internals have been tweaked to a manufacturers spec.

Mavic Crossland wheelset, almost half price (£200 to £110), delivered in 22 hours :P

Cycleworlduk, all warranty issues are dealt with by the retailer. Doesn't matter if it's OE or not, Merlin have to sort it out if there is a problem (Feel like I'm teaching how to suck eggs here…)
