Good deals as long as you don’t want them quick.
Had some of the ‘Lots in stock’ tyres that were on offer a couple of weeks back. Still not got them yet!
Don’t forget if you want to receive Sky HD channels you will have to pay the extra HD subscription fees (about a tenner a month I think) (I think Beeb HD is free to air).
Would think you will defo need a new HD viewing card though for all HD content.
Am also an average 5’8″.
Must admit I struggled between sizes.
Tried both – the medium felt too big and the small too small.
Ended up buying the med but sold it after a while as just couldn’t get happy on it.
An in between size would have been perfect.
Had some briefly, earlier in the year.
Fit was good for the front half of my foot – around the toebox and in length.
I found I suffered with a fair bit of heel slop when walking – not much use to me when pushing uphill or trying to run/walk in mud!!
If they fit you I reckon they are a good spring/autumn shoe.
Pretty good vfm when compared to similar shoes of other brands
I thought It should be around 5 / 6mm away from the top/bottom sprockets when under chain tension.
If thats the case and works when the chain is on surely it is correct?
yeah pre service.
could be wrong mind, only way to tell is put them up for sale at what you think and see if you get any takers.
if you need an idea best to scope out similar forks on ebay and see what they go for.
If you massively overprice them someone is bound to let you know
As stated, very good if you have dodgy knees. Only issue for me was the cleats do take a bit of a battering if you need to walk at all – not cheap to replace either.
Now on Iclic’s and so far so good, but would still recommend Speedplay’s
Set of Ambrosio Zenith hubs handbuilt on Open Pros with some DB spokes shouldn’t be too far from your budget and IMO will last better and be easier to maintain than a factory build
I wouldn’t disregard frames made with similar tubing from other manufacturers, like True Temper or Columbus – its just as good and would give a wider range to choose from
Went last year and TBH there was very little to buy other than a bit of clothing (in a small area set aside) that wasn't particularly cheaper than normal.
If you have a couple of hours to spare there were lots of shiny bikes to look at mind!
Have been using a medium cage mech, 11-34 cassette and 44 big ring with no problems for a while now. As long as you're careful with your shifting (ie, no big/big crossover) you shouldn't have any problems.
Defo go for a test, i'm a pretty average 5'8" and the medium just felt like a gate to me. Having said that the small felt too small!! Shame there is no inbetween.
Just (weekend gone) had to have a new windscreen (through Autoglass).
Only cost was the specific windscreen excess (£70) on my insurance.
Only problem I had was that I had to wait a week for autoglass to get a Mondeo windscreen in stock – required some careful driving for a week!!
