    Got a Logitech GT5
IMO makes steering much easier and smoother
but, the pedals are not as sensitive as a dualshock controller (can have a bit of lag out of corners) and i find the gears can sometimes be awkward.

What scruff said – if you want better reliability stick with Mavic’s 8 series rims, if you want a lighter wheel, go with Stan’s (IMO).

    What is your budget?
Can get some good condition Exotics/On-one’s 2nd hand for £60-65 or so.

I’ve used Spec 43’s for a fair few years now (road and MTN) and can’t say i’ve noticed any difference in fit or sizing with their newer shoes.

If you fancy a smock – how about the Velez adventure light?
Same basic design as the velez adventure but lighter (thinner/more fragile) outer fabric.

As long as the drivetrain is set up well and you’re not ham fisted with your shifting a medium cage will work fine (IME)

For me a set of ODI X-trainers attached to a set of Cane Creek ergo’s does the job well

I can’t speak for the NHL side as have never been to a game, though have a bit of experience of the North East cities you mention – in order of least liked!
Boston – nice to look at but found it a little anti Brit!
Phili – found it quite friendly – much more big city atmosphere but still a lot to see
Montreal – daughter did a year at Concordia uni and visited the place a couple of times – thought it was fantastic – as stated majority speak French though didn’t meet anyone who didn’t speak English also.
    all ime/imo etc..

might want to consider Toronto also – really enjoyed there also and has easy access to the other N/E cities you mentioned (to make a trip of it)

It may work with a smaller dish though i’ve never seen it tried, i’ve only seen it with 80cm plus dishes.
You might get it to work with a smaller dish but I imagine you would have to be very accurate with the positioning of each LNB.
Have a google, there is a fair bit of info out there on how to do it.

by dual LNB do you mean 1 LNB with two o/p’s or two separate LNB fitments?
If the second it is possible.
Never seen it on a standard sky dish but have on larger dishes.

For tubes: try starting opposite the valve and ensure the bead is correctly seated in the trough as you go round (as stated above) – should go on with just a bit of hard thumb pressure when you reach the valve.
Inflate to hard to ensure the beads seat correctly on the inner edges of the rim walls.
    Deflate to required pressure.

Found this works pretty well with Crests and most brands of foldable tyres (never tried with wire bead) – and i’ve got girly hands!

IMO go with the 105 – smoother shifting, quieter and £10 less.
Am currently using a Shimano cassette and chain with the rest of the groupo Sram Force – IMO you can tell the difference.

    2 x 9 or 10 set up – use a medium
3 x 9 or 10 set up – use a medium or long if you’re not smart with your gear selection (ie you insist on using big/big)

    Another vote for Sole footbeds.
The Softec Thin Sport ones are heat moldable and don’t take up much room in the shoes – ideal if you have narrower shoes.
Have a look here rvops.co.uk as they do various Sole footbeds for £29

If you’re anywhere near York have a look in the Oakley outlet store at McarthurGlen shopping. They had 10 percent off already low ticket prices the other week. Got some photochromic radars for £120. Had plenty of Jawbones in also.

The LH shifter of an M780 should be convertible from 3 to 2 clicks.
Should be able to put the shifter in the middle (of 3) position and turn the screw on the underside from the 3x position to the 2x position.

Whats the brand of cassette and hub?
Is there a little play in the cassette – if so you may be missing a thin spacer that goes on before the cassette!

You MAY get a bit of chainsuck if using a 9 speed chainset with 10 speed chain. Should have no probs using a 10 speed chainset. Am using the opposite – Shimano 10 speed drive train with X9 double 10 speed chainset with no issues
