Have used many brands of shoe over the years however, for the last couple i’ve been using a set of Giro shoes both on and off road (Factor and Code). TBH I don’t think i’d use anything else now as they’ve been excellent.

My eldest went through this last year.
Basically if she’d stayed at the uni where she got her BA she would have been able to get a bursary to do a her post grad stuff. However, they didn’t do the specific course she wanted so looked at a different uni and would have had to pay for it herself – there was no further student loan available (to top up her current one).

Also bear in mind, to do it (an OU degree) in 3 to 4 years that will be virtually full time study.
If only part time you will be looking at more like 6 years and graduating nearer to 50!

    Its a My Book Live.
Yeah frustrating, and the software isn’t great either.

To be fair, the playback side of the WD is fine – fairly quick to respond over our home network.

3 TB is huge for just music – thats (very) roughly 7500 standard cd’s ripped in a lossless format.
Have currently got a WD NAS drive. It does the job ok but is incredibly slow to upload stuff to, even over a gigabit network. Don’t know if i’d get the same again tbh.

    As above.
Had one for ongoing wrist injury and the effects lasted just shy of a year before pain returned.
No real side effects for me other than it wearing off.

Have a Cycleops fluid one on the go coming up four winters now and and still works great – no leaks

Have struggled with Giant’s sizing in the past.
Tried a (26″) Anthem in both Med and Small – one felt like a gate, the other just seemed too small. Something in-between would have been spot on.
For comparison a Spesh in 17″ or turner in medium is spot on for me.
    (average 5’8″)

Looks like you’re missing the top cap outer seal.
Goes between the top cap and top bearing.
    see here:
    Hope info

Depends on how much you want to spend but for me you can’t beat the Caribbean at that time of year, especially the more Southern islands

The self extracting bolt needs to be fitted in the RH arm, then you should just need an 8mm allen key to pull the crank off against that bolt.

Have you fitted the longer B tension screw when using the t-rex?
If not it would be a good place to start.

Is it a longer B tension screw (like you get with a Hope 40 t-rex) or a standard length one?

Using Cane Creek Ergos also with a carbon bar. They have the advantage of connecting directly to a set of lock on grips so it does spread the load a little if your concerned.

Have a look at the Berghaus Terabyte range. Have a 25 and have found it excellent. Can get larger capacity ones also I believe

For me a Middleburn RS8 Uno (in silver) or White Industries Eno look the classiest

    What hub is it?
Mavic, Easton + a few others you need to have a thin spacer on the freehub before you put the cassette on.
Can’t speak for the others but Mavic hubs do come with said spacer.

Can you be a bit more specific. What exactly are you referring to – the cassette or the wheel?
    any pics to show?

seen a fair few unmarked ones lately on the A1M in North Yorks – nearly always on the hard shoulder after pulling someone over.

Polarised are great for driving but a bit of overkill for cycling (IMO). However, they do mess with the display on my car stereo!!

If you’re anywhere near one of those designer outlet centres, have a look in the Oakley stores – got a set of photochromic Radars last year for a fraction over a ton
