2unfit2ride in dog plucking cruelty shocker! Christ’s chin, I can’t get that much hair off Ted by plucking, brushing and combing combined! And he’s nearly 3 feet tall. (Totally different coat though obviously.)

That was only halfway through, all the black in her coat comes out.
For a dog that is not supposed to malt she sure makes a mess :)

Personally I wouldn’t of got involved, but if someone spat at me then they would get all I could give (not saying that’s a lot mind)
I pined some bloke against a wall just for spitting on my (company) car, God help me if it was on one of my family.

I’m interested in the outcome of the burglar that got stabbed to death the other day. As far as I’m concerned it’s quite simple, if he wasn’t on someone else’s property without consent, & intending to commit a crime, then it wouldn’t of happened & the homeowner done us all a favour.*

*That should turn this thread around.

noteeth, so carry on, would you stand for your country if push came to shove or not?
Quite a post, but I’m not quite sure where your going with it though. You show upbringing in your respect, but no faith in what you follow, you don’t still believe the politicians run this country do you?

    Popocatapetl,
you have my thanks for what you have done, and I assume that’s why you did it, brave men stand up for their country, it seems as if in this day & age ‘brave’ men hide behind a firewall.
Take it to the streets & there will be rebellion, it’s already starting*

Gets my goat this, Ok so we live in a ‘free country’, but really, would this kind of shite be tolerated in certain other countries?

If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen springs to mind.

Inbred456, but what would that do to my electric bills, on a conventional boiler, not a combi, compared to running a power shower with a tank of hot water every 15 minutes on gas????

    2unfit2ride
    Free Member

Peter, thats because your old ;)
We don’t all really need a shower once a day, well I do because of the nicotine, but the three girls do because they are girls & thats reason enough, the really worrying thing is we all ‘need to shower between 7 & 8am because I’m to lazy to get up earlier (I get the 7 am slot)

Sandwich, I think that will be the plan, it would cut down the recovery time, but I’d rather not have to fork out the whole lot at the same time. That leads me to my other main concern, a pressurised system with very old fittings, a recipe for disaster if you ask me.

I need more hotwater, not more flow, the power shower is great, it just won’t provide four showers without the hotwater running out :(

Have you looked at the Gaggia Caffitaly Capsule Sysytem?
You can convert it back to a standard coffee machine should you feel the need.
I use one as I’m an occasional user & hated throwing out stale coffee, or worse only having stale coffee in the house when you needed an espresso.
Very consistent, you can get pods in wittards in about 6 variates, and it can do cappuccino etc.

[Dons tin hat & hides under the table.]

    Cheers.

Why, why, why do I frequent this place?

I have just bought an automatic for riding my bike, FFS, I was perfectly happy this morning!

Still, it cost less than half the price of the service on my Oris, so it must be a bargin (sic) ;)

Neil, the mud wasn’t that bad there, and as you can see there is a ridable line to the right as you look at it. I took the pic to show how much damage has been done by the 4×4’s over the winter, not how bad the mud is, as stated it’s much worse in other places. The local 4×4 crowd seem like knobs to me, Ive come across them a few times, they never seem to want to give way to walkers or cyclists :(

chakaping, its kind of the back of Wheathampstead, very near Brocket Hall golf club

There is some nice dry stuff floating about, but it’s hard to do a route without encountering the odd quagmire or two :(

I would spend loads if I could afford it, a mate recently bought a £22K rolex, he got a 5K one for his dad whilst he was there, git!

I currently have my Oris TT2 in for a service thats going to cost about £130, but in the meantime I have bought a Next dress watch for less than the price of a battery replacement on the Citizen that I had planned to wear whilst the Oris is away for a month.

I use a CVC standard issue for biking purposes, I never forget having to search for a decent watch that got ripped off in a fall once, took my nearly 40 minutes to find it, mate’s weren’t impressed.

Is that the bottom of the trail opposite my house 2unfit? I’ve seen the state of vechicles come out the top and haven’t ventured down
Must look into finding out what the possibility of getting a traffic ban on it. I know the farmer’s pretty unhappy with the current state of affairs.

It is Ian, it must be 2 foot deep, saying that I came from halfway down the track, the woods 1/2 a mile from your front door as you look at it, were worse, the horse’s have made a right mess of that one!

Please get all access, apart from bikes obviously, sorted ASAP ;)

Oh, I nearly knocked you up, I ended up spending 3 hours in the JB, but seeing as I only stopped for a quick couple I didn’t bother

mosschops, are you in St Albans?
I have tried most of the shops in the vicinity, & I find Marshall’s in WGC the best by far for me. Don’t get me wrong, Neil & the crew can be very pleasant, but they don’t exactly strive to get you the exact kit you want at a decent price. I used to deal with them at leisurewheels & changed when he started his own business, as I like them all & had some great rides with them, but for me its ultimately about the customer service I have received in Marshall’s that will make it my only LBS for the foreseeable future.

Oh, Brycey, your lucky to live up the food chain a little (or a lot, I don’t know), if your station in life was to serve tables then I bet your attitude would change, but yes I agree, exceptional service demands a tip.
To me exceptional service from a waiter/waitress on minimum wage would be to smile & not spit in the food of all the t0ssers looking down on them whilst complaining about the lack of service.

    Cheers.

I’m scared of people who go to lengths to do things like tile their garage floor and paint it a ‘pretty’ colour, anally retentive if you ask me.
    I’m surprised I can’t see a radiator…

There’s a lot of discussion going on at the office regarding how to handle the classifieds – particularly the bumping issue. So far nothing manageable has really popped up. As soon as we’re able to do the sort by post time it will be implemented, which should solve the issue. But don’t hold your breath for it…

Many thanks for sorting that out, I for one really appreciate it.
I think it also shows that you guys really listen to what is said on the forum, it also makes me feel as if you all care, and we do indeed ‘belong’.
    Cheers.

I liked it, it was different for sure, but thought provoking.
Although I was left wondering where the film was going at times, you could see the thought process, & the anger building throughout, FFS I wanted to **** the preacher.

steel, brazed, ritchy dropouts, wishbone stays, some kind of trick reinforcement arround the chainstays/BB area. Integradted headset, looks so cool on BMX’s.

    geometry:
16.5″ chainstays, clearance for 2.5″ tires (2.3″ + mud in english units), 17″ seat tube, 23.5″ Top Tube, 120mm head tube, 71deg seat angle, 69 head angle with 140mm forks.

no I’ve not been thinin about this fo a long time !

It seems you have been thinking about it for far to long, are you sure you don’t want to reconsider the wishbone stays ? ;)
