That’s nothing in West Hampstead a bedsit cough ‘executive studio’ went for £425k not so long ago. It was a bloody bedsit with shiny plastics/glass decor. Wtf are people on in parts of London?! You’d have to earn a decent wedge then travel home pressed into another person’s sweaty back before walking into your bedsit.

    Reality check.

Who drives the house price increases, excitable estate agents? Talk up the market, win the handling of the sale by promising the highest return to the vendor?

You’re old place by any chance Mark?

I’m “in the trade” this week I have sold 2 cars we took in chop PX, one was an X1, awful looking thing, open the bonnet & you can see how they use spacers to bulk the body away from a standard chassis to give it it’s size, the other a year old RR sport 5.0V8, it was just shy of £100k new, 7 seater my arse, the Zafira I owned 15 years ago had better & cleverer rear seats (barring the electric bit), best bit is someone payed over £30,000 to own it for a year & do 7000 miles, they should of just hired a chauffeur!

I have tried loads of tinned & dried, been on Canagan since I asked on HERE, they seem to get on with it, but after 3 big bags of the salmon I have had to change flavours to keep them interested.

    Sealion is the answer right?

Yes, but with lighter forks, no dropper just about the lightest crank/ BB combo available I would of thought the difference to be nearer a couple of lbs.

    Full spec,
    Large frame
Xt 1x 10’with zee rear mech
    Xt brakes
Iodine 3 wheels fat Albert tubeless tyres
    Reba 100/130 u-turn forks
fsa carbon cranks with ceramic bb
    Superstar pedals
Thomson stem & post, WTB saddle.
Carbon fat boy light bars esi grips.

Scapegoat, what wheels/ tyres are you running? At only a 1/4lb more than me running pretty much the lightest stuff I could get bar the forks I’m quite surprised at your weight.

£80 is probably not much more than a Hope one I’d imagine, call them & tell them which frame & they will take your money :D

What was wrong with the name Go far?

One involving the bloke that “left” (but that would get me a ban)

have you ever wrestled naked with Guy Kesteven, in front of a large open log fire? If not, would you like to?

    POSTED 41 MINUTES AGO # REPORT-POST

There was that event involving Ton that was far to close to naked wrestling for comfort, but I’d rather not see the pictures again 8)

Just get the Work’s one from On-one, you’ll probably want one at some point anyway ;)

Mine, a few grams under 24Lbs with pedals & a bit of mud, but with U-turn Reba’s, no dropper post & carbon crank’s with ceramic BB, I think it will be my go to bike this year :)

I wasn’t worried when I went, but at the first break seeing some 5th year kids stuff a 1st year (yes I’m old enough to be called a first year at secondary school) into a netball hoop & hoist him up & leave him really bothered me, in hindsight that was just jolly japes as I later found out that they kicked the shit out of you if they didn’t actually like you 8O

No pics, but I was only discussing this earlier with the wife, it costs me about £200 PM for my two, I could have a Maserat for that

The trouble is they all seem to serve the same shit “continental” breakfast, unless you’re going to spend all your time in the room then get a cheap central one, when in Rome don’t spend your time in a room, HTH.

I’d be interested to know what the daily rate is for people who make handbags, and if they make designer handbags is it more? 8O

    anyone dabbled with drift RC?

I work with a chap that was the UK champ a few years back, he has moved on to full sized drift cars now but we were talking about it the other day, it seems its all about RWD now, we tried this a while back & traction verses momentum was a real struggle as much as we tried.

It’s all changed, you can do retention instantly On-line now in 99% of cases, very painless & you’ll get a new V5 in a couple of days, but make sure your timing is right as a lot of dealers won’t take your car without the current V5c.

    Cheers.

Why are EBB’s the work of the Devil?

I love the look of Singular bikes, bought this frame off a fellow STW’er, Pic prior to me getting some less flexy carbon forks & black stem.

I have a Thunder Tiger ST4, it’s mental fun, but has limited appeal for me, yes it can do mad things with it, but take it to the local woods rather than a nice track & you’ll probably break it :(
I also have a traxxas Ken Block that you can have a lot more fun with outside your front door, you can’t control it though due to the SWB, but it’s fun fun fun, until it breaks ;)

I watched the one last week & thought its still an ugly house painted a modern color with a single interesting feature, I don’t want to watch anymore.

Interesting thread. I think a 29″ F/s Xc bike with lockout is much better than a gravel bike as an all round though. Far less fatiguing off road and almost as fast on.

Without trying to sound demeaning my point was that everything was ridden without suspension a while back, you learnt to ride without it, no excuses, just ride what you could & curse what you couldn’t.

I think the main point of modern marketing has more to do with the availability & “normality” of suspension forks, anyone who didn’t grow up in the 90’s think they are the norm & they ride to suit, those of us who have progressed from rigid to suss forks just see gravel bikes as the crap we were riding 25 years ago, or embrace them & use skinny by modern standards 29er tyres ;)

Or this that I was riding about ten years ago

Just another thought, does the TV have an ARC HDMI?

    2unfit2ride

Well you’ll only get stereo at best so you would need the amp to use one of it’s pseudo settings to get more.
Does the amp not have HDMI inputs?

I love Virgin media, so easy to deal with. I have just renewed for Medium TV, 100 meg BB & phone line for £44pm.
I have literally just tested the BB speed & it was 100.68, at this time on a Sunday evening 8O

Can you jailbreak the 1? from what I have read it would be very unstable if you did.
Does anyone know of a successful jailbreak?

I’m genuinely surprised no one has mentioned you could seriously burn a child to death with that set up unless they are doing 88.8 mph to cool it, or enter a time warp ;)

I had my first nights sleep with a Baavet last night & I’m impressed so far, but obviously it’s early days. I bought a super king from the baagain box, £65 as a customer return to put on a kingsize bed & replace a top sheet & standard duvet, it didn’t budge but then I doubt a normal one would either with the amount of overhang on each side of the bed

    Cheers.

I really do get the concept, but it doesn’t get me past the fact that I am paying more than the next man who has not show the loyalty that I have, I just don’t like it & I can’t get my head past it.

    2unfit2ride

wilburt, I’m sure most on here know the answers you seek, FMPOV I would say why pay more for a product that is available for less, especially as you have already given your loyalty to the company?

    Cheers.

I mix my own, the diluent is easily available cheaper elsewhere, the nic the same, but I do trust them.

I should quantify it by saying that it is not a big company, rather one that is at the top of their game in a niche market (vaping liquid), so I would of thought they couldn’t afford to lose a good customer.

    Cheers.

LHS, that maybe so, but as a customer I really don’t feel I should have too.

    Cheers.
