iirc, the utilities companies will have copies for their own use. However you might be able to buy a copy off them.

I have a set, think they are brilliant. Yes there is more technically advanced forks on the market but in all honesty I can't fault the Recons. I don't think I'll be buying any new forks for a long time.

Heels down helps you "push" the bike over any rocks and stops it stalling or bouncing your feet off the pedals. I use flats all the time, consider your shoes too. I use 5 10's and after years of using off road trainers the 5 10's are next level! really really good! the pedals seem to stick to the shoes all the time. I did the Whinlatter race last weekend and saw loads of riders struggling with spd's on downhills or tight singletrack due to them being lazy with body position including pedals, ie no heels down causing them to stall and then crash!

My first time and think I made the smart choice of only doing the 17mile loop came 10th which pleased me greatly! would have been quicker on the downs if people got out of the way!! grrr lol

If you had a video like that why would you put it on you tube and not send it to the police straight away? I would have followed the truck/car till the police turned up giving it them straight away.

The Nexen's on the front of our car are shite compared to the bridgestones it used to have. When we replace these I think I may look for something better.

I use a Granfors small forest axe for splitting small to medium rounds of wood. However there are times I would like to have the bigger splitting maul but a saw will do for now..

Yeah I bet the Police are really interested in asking about your ethnic background and the like. I think that this, is yet another pointless paper exercise added to their job by those in Government.

As for the OP, gutted about the bike, I would agree that a bike like this wouldn't be the top priority for a scummer to nick as a mountain bike would surely be easier to sell?

I **** hate thieves!! Scum. They shouldn't get a second chance if the get caught. I'd shoot the feckers.

Ha, Radley and discount don't really go together. I got the GF one for her birthday from Debenhams. The shop assistant was helpful as she held all the bags and explained the intended usage, (don't get this wrong) an the GF loved it. I **** hoped so as it set me back £140

I would say no. I popped down to the post office to get some money bags and they said that they do not accept change in this way. He pointed out that the bank do it and he was nice enough to give me plenty of money bags to get me started! I would just ask your local post office.

Second the Yaris. I drive the GF's and I like it. Could do with a bigger engine mind. Micra is ok as the GF's sister has one. Nice little car but feels small compared to the Yaris.

Uni assignments and the best bit my GF thinks valentines is a massive waste of time! and money. If you can't do nice things all year round what's the bloody point.

Bought one last month, Im pleased with it. I wanted an DSLR but funds and space made that unrealistic so went for the Canon sx200i instead. I find it easy to use and takes pretty nice photo's. It feels massive compared to my last digi cam which was a Canon Ixus but the build and finish seems nice. Reviews talk about the Panasonic Lumix being better but I prefer Canon so went for that.

It's nice to know people look forward to seeing the pic of Brian.

DD, We live in a small terrace house in the centre of town and this is why we got the BT, we have a secure yard with high walls so no chance of him escaping!!! The dog lives outside during the day whenever we are out. We are lucky as I'm at Uni so the little bugger isn't left alone too long. Borders are great all round dogs as they can live outside in all weathers yet his favourite place is in front of the fire! The breeder we got him from (in Brierfield near Burnley) had their BT's living with cats and had no issues there. Highly recommended. Will happily run all day but won't be put out if it's a quick walk around the park.

My GF has a pair and she **** hates chavs. So why did she get some you may ask? well she bloody wanted too. She looks very nice in them and she takes care of them due to them costing a fortune or the same as a new xtr mech. Those you see on the chavettes are more than likely copies and not the real thing. The folding over at the heels you are talking about are down to bad build quality of these copies. The real ones have supports around the ankle to stop this happening.

If you live in a smokeless zone, buy an approved device. We have cost of our gas bill has halved.

Yeah sure the money we save on the gas bill we spend on fuel, however we can have the woodburner on for a lot longer than we ever had the central heating on. Much warmer overall.

I don't want live in a house with out one.

I like mine. 180/160 combo, not as on, off, feeling as my bros xt's but I prefer the more progressive feel to the lever.
