If only the teddy knew it was a matter of hours before he was gutted and his remains spread all around the living room floor. We soon realised that Brain was very fond of removing the insides of his stuffed toys.

Hint hint it becomes an expensive hobby of theirs.

Ted does look like he has settled in very well already

Woody, Brian is two years old this month, we started taking him running/jogging and now biking since he was a year old.

Innes, My worst fear was running my own dog over, so when Brian and I went out on our first ride together I would deliberately touch him with the front wheel so he now stays behind the rear wheel or takes off in front.

John, it did indeed take me a while but the hardest part was choosing the backing tracks!

    cheers for the comments

    Cheers guys,

I was intending on going back and doing the start and end but just wanted to get it finished today. The pup was suffering by the end and I was glad that I bailed to get him patched up. It was a cracking day out tho but a little too warm and dry for the dog.

I'll try harder on the next one..

    thanks for the comments tho

Took mine out around Gisburn today he didn't do the full red due to it being to hot for him and he also cut his paw removing the top layer of his pad. He'll run behind a bike no problem and hardly ever gets in my way. As mentioned above there are rides I'll never take him on however around the local route on a weekday seems fine to me. It's nice to have the company to. He runs with the GF when she goes out jogging as well. Build them up and don't push them to hard too soon as they will suffer in later life.

Ha that coffee table was passed down by the girlfriends parents who have had it since the 70's I think. I can't recommend a wood burner enough, just consider if you are in a "smokeless" zone which we are, You need a clean burn fire ours is the Morso Squirrel 1412, gives out 5Kw of heat which is plenty for the room that's in.

Top video that, when I was in India what amazed me was that although there seemed to be no traffic rules it all worked surprisingly well.. your certainly brave riding a road bike there!

Snake's pass in the Peaks yesterday was covered with bikers of clearly mixed abilities. The section coming down from the top of the pass heading towards lady bower had 2 static police camera vans as well as 2 traffic cars and 1 motorbike. And that is only what I spotted. The thing that got me was the constant flashing of lights warning of the police presence which is good as it did slow a fair few of the riders down. I think the under cover bikes are a great idea. Have fun on a bike but to do it on a public road when busy is just daft. I read about the biker on the Vincent as I was looking on the BBC news site to find out why the air ambulance landed next to the road leading down to the Ladybower visitor centre? I'd love a motorbike to get around on but the likely hood of crashing or being wiped out by someone else is to high. I'd much rather have a "quick" car than a super fast bike.

slx are the best brakes I've ever used. I used to be a Hope man before that and just had enough of fixing them so tried the SLX and will likely never go back.

Yeah I can only make the morning as the chap I'm meeting has to work in the afternoon, we can catch up and go for a spin during the summer, as for digs after this week I could meet up one evening to get a few hours in if you wanted? Say meet at 5-6 ish then dig till it goes dark? Hopefully should be there for the next dig tho.

    Hi Jon,

No not finished my exams yet!! I have the final one this coming Friday, landlord and tenant, nice. Seems like you had a good session at the weekends dig, I was stuck in revising for my exam today which went surprisingly well? Thought Id pop over to Lee Quarry and have a look at how good the tracks are, also I'm entering the Brownbacks races so thought I'd have a look round. I'm meeting a mate up there at around 9am ish if you fancy a spin out?

The sandal guy was a passer by who helped the chap on the floor not the daft sh1t who knocked him off.

Do it now! Guy sounds like a right n0bber, do you have a lease or a licence? to live in the property. LL needs a reason for entering the property and would require to ask your permission to do so. If he doesn't like the bikes being in the room you rent and pay for then he would have to add that as a clause that your not allowed. Ask yourself what would you be doing if the bike then got nicked?

Let the police know what this guy is doing.

Gutted, still go by the rule of don't sell if you can't post. Make a point of it at the point of sale, It's shite when it happens to you tho and generally makes me just want a refund. However wasn't there "another" STW user who was based up that way who also had issues with posting items for sale… just a thought.

OP send them an email saying your willing to meet up or something along those lines see if they change their mind

Keeping the deposit, unlikely that as you can remind them that they have entered the place unlawfully.. Still go nuclear on them tho

See Street v Mountford 1985 AC 809 for the details of exclusive possession

Yep quiet enjoyment means that you are able to enjoy your home as you like, LL or his or her employees cannot enter without your permission as it is illegal as you have a lease and not a licence. So in theory they have broken the law. what ever is likely to come of it who knows but do go in and remind them of this. It should be in your lease. They have a key only for emergencies only not for them to let themselves in whenever they like. Unless they have made you sign a clause which removes the right to quiet enjoyment in which case this could be a shame clause to make it look like lease but it's not really one. Have a look but I'd still go mental.

ok so just worked this out. Dam it is simple.

    it would be 60 x 100 / 75 = 80 bricks per hour

Thanks, however the thanks goes to the GF for finding the answer on a shopping website.

    Cheers

I had M4's and they were dump compared to my SLX, I run 180mm ft 160mm back. I'm only a few KG lighter than yourself and they have plenty of stopping power for me. Also I don't have to fix them every ride like my old Hope's.

I wouldn't say they are shite.. tho but maybe you need some bigger brakes ie the saints mentioned above

    You need one of these,

If they don't get eaten they will stay up the trees and off your lawn

I have, got fired then due to there error I got my job back. Ace. (I didn't want it back by the way) I was applying to other jobs in work time as well as looking at Uni courses which they also didn't take a fancy too. Call centres are shocking places to work. Glad I left in the end with a clean record and I'm at the end of my second year at uni. Good luck

Ps it's not nice to be investigated tho feel for ya

Simple, all you need to do is:

Get a Mop, any will do
    Old t-shirt
    Plastic bag
    Duck tape

    The process goes like this,
Wrap the t shirt around the head of the mop and tape it in place. Then put the t shirt and mop head into the plastic bag and duct tape like hell. Then pop the mop head with it's new covering into the bog and plung like mad. The trick is to get enough pressure by squeezing the mop head into the pan and on removal it should suck the mess out of the way. Adjust the mop t shirt rate if needed.

I did this and it actually worked only took about 10minutes and saved me a wedge on the cost of a plummer.

This is why I never use ebay. I know of people doing this with family and friends to bump up the prices, I reckon it's common practice to some.

I've got V12's with 5,10s low impacts and they are fantastic. Had v8's for years but felt like getting the V12's this time.

I don't visit my mum and she lives 2 miles away. She makes me feel uncomfortable when I visit and if she wasn't my mum I wouldn't have anything to do with her at all. She fails to see any of her wrongs and is too judgemental. She has become obsessed with keeping up with the Jones and has become a horrible person by doing so. I feel sorry for my little brother and sister who have been manipulated to dislike my dad who has been taken for a ride also.

If you dislike it that much then leave, or MTFU and deal with it.

    Good luck tho
