Before you go too far make sure it's got the latest ROM
New ROM makes a big big difference from the first few versions

Flash works on mine as far as I remember no special fiddles
    firmware 1.5

    great lights
not the brightest no but enough as a pair for me
great vfm and very versatile and bullet proof
great burn time for the £'s and weight
no longer have a uk distributor though 😥
so take a little longer and you may get stung for duty though
still good vfm in my eye's though
customer services from oz is still good though

wobble cussions are ok much cheaper and smaller then most wobble boards
+ doesn't kill carpet like boards do

I't not all about strength, due to the trauma your ankle doesn't quite know where it is itself and can't respond quick enough to save it again in the future

    you need to re-teach it

    wobble board/cussion to improve Proprioception
+ stand on one leg doing stuff like washing the dishes/brushing your teeth

self massage and stretching too as you may have lost some flexibility

btw not an expert, but have broken (once) and torn both ankles
just me experiance take what you want leave what you don't
    best of luck

Thom might be easier to get some from Finland/Germany

See if Rich or James might want some too maybe get some for all of us.
thing is might not need 'em but if it's anything like this at the puffer then they'll bo worth their weight in gold

DT78 try Perfect Balance Cycles in Totton
He's built several wheels for me all stayed nice a true, a good price too.
He'll be a damn sight cheaper than the shop you've been to already

a lot of rechargable aren't the same voltage

    e.g. duracell AA = 1.5V I think
the rechargable AA's i had for my old digital camera were 1.4 I think
could be why, I'm in the the same situation with my wireless mouse at home

not too regularly just as and when it needs it

big bottle of tech wash, lasts ages, you only need a couple of small cap fulls
you need to make sure there's no residue from normal powders/liquids in the tray first as that stuff will kill it apparently

afterwards put it on a low in the tubble dryer, revives the breathability of it

every now and again use a reproofer too then tumble again

If you’re walking within a week it'll not be long really, a month tops!
Perhaps see about a wobble board/cushion or alternatively try doing a few things balanced on your bad leg like brushing your teeth etc (once it’s up to it, build up slowly)

It'll help improve to your ankles Proprioception
as it'll be all out of whack 'cos of your injury

Last time I did one of mine I was walking in a few days and did a marathon a little over a month after.
Time before however I was on crutches for 5 weeks 😥
couldnt run or ride for months

I need a couple of spare bits which I clumsily broke, didn't realise they did spares so cheers for the pointing that out 8)

But! What’s a 'Large' 1st class stamp when it's at home then?

I have some regular first class stamps.
What do I do just stick the relevant number in an envelope with a list of the bits and my address?

and great riding straight from the doorstep.

    fair enough cyclistm
but seems a little pointless to me tbh when the people in question don't have any relivant skills or experiance => 0% chance of getting the job

we have had a couple of disabled people work in the office here in the past and currently have a number of perminant and contract 'minority groups' employeed here too, but they are all qualified to do the job

my other half works for a council they've just put out an ad' for a job and got 160+ applicants 90% have no chance, the managers quickly whittled the list down to half a dozen or so that were suitable.
HR have since told them they have a further 10 to interview because they are disabled in some minority group.
None of them have relivant skills or experiance but they've been told to interview them regardless!

I'm all for equal oppertunities but whats the point of this!?!? ffs

back on the OP's point yeah stuff about helping the community or something similar

Ton I'm not sure I'd got that far, but I have been looking forward to it.

organic355 hmmm about £2500 ish give or take
There is some bike scheme lovelyness in there lighning the actual hit on my wallet
reba teams, all XT groupset, wheels are Hope hubs with 355's with a sprinkling of Carbon and Titanium

zaskar, nah! I'd put Kansas or whatever his name is to shame.
I'm only expecting the complete build to take about 15 mins 😉

or maybe I'll just take my time over with a nice Ale

Should have got the Raw one

No way! It was worth the wait 8)
The green is great, A Lot! brighter than the photos, great finish

headset press cost more than the frame

Possibly, It certainly weighs about twice the frame for sure 😆
borrowed the press from the LBS, wanted to do all of it myself (bar wheels)
LBS is building the Wheels up, Rims are in, hubs are in, spokes in tomorrow
Wheels built for Friday fingers crossed.
