I’ll need to do a fair bit of reading I think

My initial thoughts were to make an appointment with planning to discuss pre application stuff to formalise our thoughts and make sure they broadly fit with what’s acceptable, which from what I’ve read they should.

Then get the proper planning drawings + design and specs + and calcs for the Steel(s). Then take the rest on myself doing what I can myself and then organising trades and building inspectors.

We’ll see though it’s all a bit fluid and just thoughts at the moment, There’ll be a few stages we think and everything will take us a few years we think. Starting with the garden and internal stuff now and moving on to a new garage then the extension.

you did the right thing for sure.

One of the the most upsetting thing I’ve ever done, after our springer had a stroke.

lots of fond memory’s though, we think about him loads and I’m sure you’ve got loads of them with Rex too, just remember those.

filled my brother’s tyres with water too, as per onion.

I also filled his frame with Sand 😯
I managed to do the bars, top, down and seat tube
    😈 😈 😈

I was about 14/15 at the time and really didn’t get on with him much at the time. He wasn’t best pleased 😳

    No

I have to pay more into my pension and work longer to keep it going (company changed it this year)
Please tell me why I should subsidise yours?
No pay rises here for years, all the while the public sector did and still are, capped yes but that’s better than bugger all!
and that was after the redundancy’s!
My company’s still struggling to break even.

the moneys not there, suck it up, everybody else is feeling it

Really hard to see through all the lies and propaganda in the press though.
I hold the Tory’s and Unions with an equal level of disdain btw.

    Correct Chris_mbuk. But!!!!
Ashima printed a batch the with it printed the wrong way round! 😯

I’ve got two from that batch and ran them the wrong way for a while until a mate pointed it out and I swapped ’em round. They’re still going and I’ve not died, yet 😉

    DT78 you’re Southampton way Yeah?
I had mine done with a bike fit session here
£60 well spent imo. ThomThumb off of here and a few others have seen them too with good results. I’ve got a slight leg length difference from a badly broken femur and have had knee problems too, sorted me out.

Nicky and her husband are both really keen cyclists, more TT and IronMan but MTB too.

[Edit] Too slow Thom beat me to it 🙄 [/Edit]

we’ve had a few, got one at the moment, great little cars for what they’re intended e.g. town an local stuff.
mpg’s ok but not amazing, servicing isn’t cheap and best keep on top of it, the engines aren’t too robust if you rag ’em we know to our cost.
wider wheels here and lowered + chipped and stainless exhaust and the bike rack which is great. I’m 6″2′ btw and it’s plenty roomy enough for me

I would buy another though even with the problems we’ve had, I love it for what it is. oh and we live in the country, but it’s only used locally really

not read all of the above but

“Smoking in Cars” no! (unless kids are in the car)
    “Smoking while driving” Yes!

Purely because it’s something in your hand and takes focus away from actually driving. It’s probably worse when lighting and putting ’em out than when actually smoking (unless you just flick it out the window like most litterers/smokers do). no different from the mobile phone ban IMO.

It’ll come already set up against the Amazon account it was order from.
I opened it up and bought one on my account before repacking it and wrapping it up.

that reminds me I must change it to be registered against a new account of her own this week, it was only her birthday end of last week.

I quite like these Aligator iLinks
I know they’re not the cheapest bit they last forever and are completely washable, swappable between bikes you even lengthen ’em

    nice an light too

    I’d certainly buy them again

[Edit] Very easy to fit too no hassle cutting and outers which can be a pita ime anyway

From personal experience I’d go with a recommended local solicitor, regarless of cost!
I’m currently struggling with one of the big conveyor belt companies. They’re the most incompetent fools I’ve ever had to deal with, making the same mistakes over and over again because theres no continuity of staff. Over 4 weeks of delays so far because if them being useless. I’m on the phone every day chasing and they still don’t seem to give a toss. Oh and they’ve just lost the original deeds for the house we’re buying too Now 😯

Don’t what ever you do use Countrywide property lawyers or countrywide anything services, there do loads of others stuff too. I wouldn’t touch ’em with a barge pole. In fact next time we move I’ll go so far as to tell the estate agents that I will not accept any offers from buyers using cwpl.

In Hampshire, went to bids, won at 40k over and settled at 30k over after survey. Not a particularly special property but a fairly rare location, same house where we live now would be 40% less

    Windows explorer?
Browse to your iTunes library location, copy and paste to the phone.
You could set up something like a SyncToy profile to do it with a few less clicks.
Android doesn’t need anything special like apple, if it’s just on the file system, job done AFAIK

yeah the main steps all sound easy but when you start getting issues and having to involve extra third parties it all slooooows down!
Things like the house not being registered with Land Registry (Due to age and the last time it changed hands being in the 50’s) and issues with extensions possibly not having planning permission + a number of issue brought up in the survey which need quotes and looking into which again rely on third parties. Every time you involve another third party it just slows down that bit more. 😥

It’s completely doing my head in at the moment, think your self lucky that your not trying to sell and buy 100-110 year old houses. we’re having nothing but trouble at both ends 😥
not going to this again in a hurry that’s for sure!!

yeah, there are x tickets (a few hundred?) per day, they’re free though.

Just head straight there first thing and get your ticket and then you can go up later in the day, as long as you start going up by 14:00 or something it’s fine.

+1 Wayna Picchu (and pretty much everything Rod’s said), rush for a ticket and do everything else later, you wouldn’t want to miss it

don’t even think about it unless you’re good with heights though.

If you do a Nascar Lines flight, check for a good company, 3 days after our trip this happened

Nope highly restricted and well governed. It’s never crazy busy, everything taken is in taken out, so very clean and natural.

There are a number of other routes to Machu Pichu which are quieter and cheaper as you can use animals to carry stuff instead of loads of porters. No horses or Donkeys on the main trail. it’s very well looked after and managed. well worth doing it’s amazing.

but to put it in to perspective Winchester Cathedral is 500 years older.
still amazing and I’d love to go back and do it again. Just not as old as perceived by most
