Running in a group of men can also be less tiring if they shield the athlete from incoming wind.

Thats an advantage to every runner out they’re no matter what sex they are.

    RIP 🙁

How much do the Red Arrows cost to run each year?

The benefits of the Red Arrows far outweigh the cost, promoting British interests and acting as an international ambassador for British industry. Further information relating to budgets should be directed to Royal Air Force 22 Group.

The Ministry of Defence considers that British tax payers should not bear the cost of overseas tours. The Red Arrows overseas tours, representing and demonstrating the very best of British excellence, are largely met by sponsors.

I use to have some of those Ringle hubs, seat post and bottle cages in green. I also had one of those AMP 3 frames but with RS mag21 on it 😳

I use to have loads of old brochures had most of the Cannondales from the early ninety’s onwards. Think the only one i’ve got left is an old Merlin Cycle works with the original price list somewhere.

Crikey, I know what the injections do it has been very well explained to me, but after the initial injection which got rid of about 70% of the pain the others have done nothing.

Had similar in my foot done under x-ray to get right in between the joints of my 4th and 5th metatarsal after regular cortisone injections didn’t work. Unfortunately the procedure didn’t work for me and now on tablets to try and sort the problem.

I currently ride a 456 with a Thomson post and have no issues with it. I guess a carbon post could make it comfier but I also find a decent saddle helps.

I had spring assisters on my old one and that improved the handling no end, miss it on the current one.

My old one had BFG all-terrains and were pretty impressive off road though my L200 always has a fair amount of weight in the back of it. Current ones got a Michelin equivalent and they are utter crap.

Used mine for a 4×4 training and it went everywhere a Landrover went apart from one section where the instructor said a LR just gets round it if you get it right and the L200 would never get around.

Get a water bottle fitted, doesn’t matter how far i’m going I always take at least a 500ml bottle of water with me. I’ve been caught out once to often that a quick spin has turned into a lot longer ride.

For rides of about 30 miles I just take a water bottle with an electrolyte tab in it. I have a banana, jam sandwich or bowl of porridge 1/2 to an hour before I go and it see’s me through okay. Also make sure your well hydrated before you set off.

Our Caddy van gets better traction off-road.

Might want to put some decent tyres on the 4×4 then 😉

I find it tows fine but I think i’ve just got use to them after driving one nearly every weekday for the past 7 years. but as others have mentioned unless you need the 4×4 get a decent estate or van.

Had an 05 till the crankshaft went and took the engine with it, It was slow noisy and the turning circle was pathetic. Currently got an 07 and it’s a totally different vehicle, nippy, great turning circle and a lot more comfortable. If it was my own personal choice id rather go for a Toyota Hi lux.
