Shibboleth- that question is quality! Made my day.

Ok, can we get the following words in some questions: mongoose, flux capacitor, anti foo foo valve, twin zam zimmers, squiggle pin, womble, hoof and onomatopoeia.

    Any other suggestions?

    That’s what i thought Iain.

Why be a bit of an arse when you are trying to sell a £3000 bike that is infact worth maybe £2000?

    Yes i agree,

It is the last paragraph that got me,

Why would you pay more for the bike/parts when you could do it cheaper yourself…

    The frames are £350 ciderinsport..

Im sure On One are doing a deal on the frame and a revelation fork for £750 aswell.

I know it is really bugger all to do with me but he seems a bit arsey in the last paragraph and when answering the question..

Harldy an attitude to attract customers and bidders.

Having said that if the rims, stem and bars were black i think it would look better.

I think there is too much white on it, and im pretty damn sure i could build it for less than £2995…

I did suspect that..so in theory i should not be playing Ice Hockey tonight, biking tomorrow, Ice Hockey tomorrow night and then on Sunday! 8O

I spoke to a doctor over the phone and to be honest he pretty much told me it was “nothing” and not to worry about it!

Ill go get it checked out next week..Hope he/she doesn’t tell me i can’t ride my new bike when i build it next week!! SHHHHHHHH.

Yeah i just tried that little movement, im not sure i f i did dislocate it the first time it did it though?

I don’t suppose it matters, the fact it popped out is all that matters, i started doing better warm ups before playing sport or running as it used to ache when i did that aswell (im slowly falling apart here), i have also started doing light weights to try and build up the muscle in that area.

My shoulder popps out on ocassion aswell, last time was when i was washing my lorry at work, i was stretching up with the brush and it appeared to come out it’s socket and rotate round to my chest area…i just rotated my shoulder back round and it went back in!!! Is that dislocating? It aches for a few days afterwards and i can’t lift much with it.

It happened the first time after i got checked at Ice Hockey and fell very heavily on it with my full weight, i could not grip the stick or move it, it was sore for weeks but never thought anything of it, that was last January, it has done it 4 or 5 times since…once when i dived in the pool on holiday and again when i was washing my car!

Sorry to hi-jack the thread, i saw the title and thought id ask..so is my shoulder partially dislocating or is is something else?

Im playing Ice Hockey tonight, hope it behaves itself.

Yeah i could flog them to a mate, i could build the bike with good kit, hope headset, bb and hoops, sram x0 gearing, thomson seatpost and stem, slx brakes etc for £1350 + £300 if i went for the St4 as id probably upgrade to bettr forks to be honest.

They are private sales, mind ur own business and find ur own deals! ;-)

Whats ur bank account details Euro? You have won €8000000000 on the South African lottery, i just need a small fee to process the payment! Thnk you please.

    Ill do that Euro,

They just seem very similair ans they are both good deals, i have a Cube road bike…does that count as supporting the Euro?

Yes Rob, the only way to do it fairly is to get both! ha ha.. I wish.

I think it is the deal on the Commencal that is stopping me taking the St4, to be honest it was the St4 i originally wanted, then as usual i spied the Commencal and thought..hmmmm wait a minute.

Maybe i should stop being such a miserable swine and buy the St4?

Yeah looked at the Anthem X, but had a bad experience with the Giant bike brand a few years back and i can’t get my head round that (daft i know).

I looked at the Commencal geometry and as usual i am on the border line for the frame sizes, i think the medium Super 4 would be ideal mind you as the Top Tube measurement is very similair to the 5 i had last year and that was a good fit for me.

I suppose it comes down to wonga!!

The Commencal frame is coming with a set of new Fox forks for £750

The Orange St4 frame is coming with a Hope headset, BB and seatclamp for £745.

    Mike.

Well yeah, where else am i going to read it seeing as i am British after all?

I have read good reviews for both bikes, the most noticeable comment is that the Super 4 is a good bike but a little heavy for a 100mm short travel frame, plus the head angle could do with being a degree slacker..that said it is a good bike for trail centres.

The reviews on the Orange say it is a great bike to ride at trail centre and has a better headangle for decending.

The Commencal is the better climber but not as involved on the downhill bits as the Orange, however they both ride like 5″ bikes.

I would say that the Orange looks alot neater in the weld areas than the other bikes they produce but i guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

As for price, as they are both second hand but unused neither is over priced! The Commencal is only £100 cheaper new anyway!

    Thanks for the input tho.

Yeah i can’t seem to find many snapping or cracking issues with the 2010 frames, they just look very simaliar in design..

The deal is good on the super 4 buy from what i can read the ST4 is the better overall bike.

    Mike.

Yes so i believe mate, i was certainly very impressed by it. Maybe better to stick to the one i have demo’d.

Yeah i have a 120mm fork ready for it, im a bit hesitant on the cracking issues aswell.

I did see the deal at Rutland but im getting a square chainstay 2010 frame for less! ;-)

The reviews say the St4 is a better trail bike which is it’s intended use but to he deal on the super 4 is very good!
