Up and over garage door to the tip – had to fold it into quarters though.

Giant Rapid here. Similar to the Cube SL Road, fast/light flat bar commuter/hybrid/gravel etc. Tiagra 2 x 10, 50/34 compact, hydraulic disc brakes, upgraded wheels HALO Devaura aero with Panaracer Gravelking tyres. Very nice bike but nearing time for a change.

You know that thing you like? It’s rubbish.

I hope you’re not talking about the Holy Grail

Most over rated movie ever – with the possible exception of Withnail and I.

Can thoroughly recommend Harmsen in Utrechtstraat, small, nice ambience, great food, reasonably priced. Gollem Craft Beer pub beforehand for a few drinks. Envious!

Just keep an eye on your items as well. A couple of times recently they have started reducing the prices of my items to “help them sell”. You can decline this when listing but have to know to look out for it.

If N=2, could the ht go in the loft?

Unfortunately not, but it has crossed my mind to paint everything the same colour.

    Believe its called Plausible Deniability!

Big bottle of cola and some mentos. And a mop. He’ll remember it forever.

Thanks chaps for all the input. Consensus seems to be yes, I do need one. The only trouble now is convincing myself to part with the HT (Genesis Latitude) as N=2 at my house so its one in, one out.

Might be nice but he’s tedious. 5 minutes of chat about how he takes no notice of curfews between every 3 minute song and then finishes on the dot.

I doubt Bernard Butler would agree with you on that one.

And VW are now proposing to offer a buy back scheme in Germany if new emission reduction zones are introduced. Absolute madness.

On the subject of the bikes I wonder if the charity that provides bikes to villagers in Africa could benefit from this?

Staropramen have a few of their own bars dotted across the city, decent beer (there own) and cheapish simple Czech food (goulash etc). Fat Cat in Karlova is a large dining hall, decent burgers etc but nothing too exciting, however about a dozen “craft” beers on with tasting notes etc. One of the highlights for us was the American Bar in the basement of Municiple House. Fantastic art-deco styling, well stocked bar (not so much beers though) like stepping back in time, fairly quiet (stumbled in by accident) but nice to sit with a cocktail for a little while and channel Humphrey Bogart.

Clearly somebody made a mistake but these are volunteers, other parents, kindly souls who generally want to bring fun and a broader outlook on life to other peoples kids. If we expect them to deal with everything and everyone as if they were a professional then we are sunk. The kids will have to stay home on their computers or on street corners hassling old ladies and shopkeepers.

Wrong of the parents on many levels. Where do they think the £40k came from? Bet it would take a pack 15 years of subs to accrue £40k and thats before any exes. Sad. Matching white BMW’s or Audis wouldn’t surprise me while Akela rocks up in his Picasso full of tent poles.

I have a pair of Halo Devaura Disc wheels in barely used condition. Have been listed on here if you search and are currently on ebay and I’m willing to haggle (some). 6 bolt and can be run tubeless.

I would say get yourself a N.O.S Ridley X Bow. Might find one in classifieds, save £200!

Tracey, sorry but I feel you ladies may have been duped – those aren’t pies.

Also, that article doesn’t mention Scarborough Taps in Leeds – a veritable mecca of pie.

Radio has to go off if Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton comes on. Also, Tonights the kind of night by Noah and the Whale makes me v.sad – it was out the same time my boy went off to Uni.

Anyone willing to “fess up” to having a pool?

We’ve got some quite big puddles but I’ve never crapped in one. Sorry.

I can recommend the BT Essentials 300 Wi-Fi Extenders. Our house is 3 storeys with lots of solid walls, tight corners etc and we always had lots of dead spots. We put one upstairs and one downstairs (they’re quite cheap) and now we have good signal all over.

    Shameless Plug Alert!

Judging by the quantity of used “vintage” clothing on ebay, I suspect only the real tat gets where it was intended (see old Liverpool and Chelsea jerseys on 3rd world children).

    Thanks Esme.

And tthew, timings fairly accurate but can try and be more precise later (delivering family to Hartford 1.00 ish then pick up 4.00 ish). Not stuck on Delamere but circular route may be better time wise? Thoughts?

I awarded many millions of pounds worth of work, and then valued it fairly

Translation – I played everyone off against each other to drive the price right down, then re-valued it lower after the work was done, when I realised we weren’t making enough out it ourselves.
