Generally it will be the upstairs ones that need bleeding and the one in particular which is the highest. We have an upstanding/towel rail one in our bathroom and that one is usually the only one with air in it.
You can also tell if individual ones need bleeding by feeling the temp diff at the top and bottom. If it needs bleeding the bottom will be a lot hotter than the top.

Swimming and diving is fantastic, well worth a boat trip out. The old town is quite nice too, some great fish restuarants down by the harbour. Day trip to luxor, tomb of kings Def worth it, but long day and also you have to go in convoy with armed military.

Full of Russians up their own asses though!

I would seriously worry that your bike actually arrived on the carosel at the airport too!!

My uncle used to be in the army based out in Burma, he showed us pictures once of when they were on patrol in the jungle and bivvying for the night in hammocks.

One of the soldiers fell asleep with his arm hanging out and woke up with terrible pins and needles in it to find a snakes head ‘stuck’ at his armpit!!

The latest school of thought is to cut out the middleman, i.e. the cod, and take Krill oil as that’s where the cod gets its omega 3 from.

WRT the original question, I went to Norway years ago and visited a cod liver oil factory in a fishing village. The oldest person we met in the village looked about 65, we were amazed when he said he was 92!!

It’s Def worth taking and I have every day ever since, the key is to make sure you take quality oil.

Do you know anything about the train tunnel in the Brecon Beacons? I’d dearly love to see that reopened..

Network rail has a long term plan to try and re-open a lot of their old tunnels for various uses if financially viable. They all need some major work on them and with everything it’s down to £ so I wouldn’t hold your breath.

Don’t know where the Brecon tunnel sits on the pecking order, but it wasn’t on a list of tunnels we saw last year that they wanted feasibility / prices to sort out and has subsequently gone quiet!!

It is highly unlikely that the woodhead tunnels will ever be used again for car or train use.

I have worked in them twice in the past refurbishing them and 1 is full of service cables and both have major restrictions in them due to collapses and relining.

To remove the above and make big enough for modern rail or dual carriageway wouldn’t cost much less than building a new one.

I also did some design / feasibility work on the Tintwsitle bypass tunnel years ago, so I’m guessing this is being resurrected?

I also started working on the Stone Henge tunnel option last year ;)

Not seen any announcements, but another good one I did some feasibility on was a tunnel at Tarbet to cut out that narrow, twisty bit along the north of Loch Lomand.

As mentioned above, if you do it by remote up or side lighting, (notice that’s what the professional photographers do!) it isn’t a problem.
Facing head on to a rider so he gets the blast in the face is fekin annoying and particularly hazardous in a dark forest.

I know it’s been mentioned above, but to me the ‘bouncer’ is just wrong as it’s a deliberate attempt to intimidate the batsman.

The bowler knows when he delivers it that he could harm the batsman, that’s moraly wrong and not ‘sportmanlike’!!

Never actually tried the regular length, but I Def like the long length.

I’d wished he had put it on a rolling road to see what bhp it was making.

I helped my mate build the first ‘monster’ bike in the late 80’s, we bored a GSX to 1500, bolted it into a custom built spondon frame and turbo’d it, kicked out 250bhp and he held the world wheelie record @ 150mph on it for most of the 90’s.

I rode it once and that was enough for me, it was fekin mental, I shat myself, it would wheelie in every gear when the boost came in!

He then went on to have a head on with another rider whilst doing wheelie demos. They hit each other whilst both doing 100+, virtually paralysed his legs and he was cristenend by his best mates ‘wobbly’ from that day forth :D

Buy some land, put up some security fence, CCTV and controlled access gates, then rent caravan and motorhome storage space @ £350 p.a. ea.

Currently looking for somewhere near home and everywhere nigh on full, each with 100 – 200 vans on there – do the maths!! :P

You get a bastid tyre like that now and again :(
The way I have sorted it is to put a tube in and inflate to circa 50psi and leave for a day, in which time the bead will ‘mould’ to the rim. Carefully break one bead of the tyre, remove tube, (insert fluid now if required or through valve afterwards), insert tubeless valve, re-seat tyre bead and then re-inflate and the tyre will now seal onto rim.

Delemere has some ace riding, so saying ‘don’t bother’ is a bit harsh, you just need some local knowledge to show you the jewels.

    100mphplus

1.5hrs ish actual riding, depends how many times you stop along the way.

All the good stuff at Delemere isn’t ‘marked’ trail so unless you have a guide it would be hard to string together. If you jave a garmin there are gpx of the good stuff available.
    Some people like it clockwise, I prefer anti-clockwise;

The rear mech hardly moves when the cranks are turning, (were talking a couple of mm at the most), all that happens is the distance between the top and bottom of the chain changes with the chainring size. As far as the rear mech is concerned the chain is still going round a ‘X’ tooth ring, whether it’s round or oval.

I have them on my road bike and we sat and watched out of interest, thinking that the rear mech would move too.

I noticed earlier in the year that Rotor Q were making narrow/wide single MTB rings.

Did a 7 day tour of the Lofoten Islands a few years ago, got the Hertegruten from Bodø to Moskenes and then cycled up to Svolvaer to get the boat back to Bodø, absolutely stunning!!

You totally lose track of time as it’s 24hr sunshine in the summer. Fekin most expensive country I have ever been to though and if you don’t like fish or lamb you may struggle to eat ;)

I have used D3’s since they launched as the D2 were a terrible fit due to their cross sizes. The ‘true’ medium D3 fits me like a glove, really comfy.

Have a look at the Airoh Aviator helmets, very big in MX and Enduro motorcycle racing, but lighter than a D3. More and more riders have started using them for DH in the past 2 years.

Is that an original LG chain guide that has a nut at the back of the top guide? If so, then you need the LG1+ guide that has a recessed rear screw so you can mount the guide nearer to the pivot.

MRP do an equivalent guide too, but I’m afraid that’s your only solution to get the chainline as far over as possible.

What size front ring you running? I never had a problem using 36T and you could run the ctre line of the top support should be btw 11 & 12 o-clock no problem. If it’s a small ring you might have to MTFU and get a bigger ring!

The other alternative, if you want to keep that ring, is to put thick protection on the chainstay and accept it’s going to rub in top gear.
