Have a look on here http://theradavist.com/2015/04/reminder-next-week-is-the-speedvagen-fit-tour/ for lots of ideas and look at trinton cycles for frames or bikes the choice now is fantastic. Quite a few are heavy, but get spendy if you want light. But what I would call day tour bikes are great. All city rider here.

Not saying he’s right, but who would have liked to be a passenger in the little jaunt around the island?

They should be reet, you may want an other set for when it gets proper muddy but I would ride with what you’ve got for where you are talking about. If you fancy a ride I’m out that way quite often.cheers 1 shed.

Similar here, be supportive and don’t forget to have quality time together.sometimes that is just soup and a sandwich and time to talk or listen. I went down to my parents, mowed the lawn, cooked tea and mum and dad were so happy. You will work it out.

Van Dessel WTF, builds like a mtb with drops. Not for the shy the most commented upon bike I’ve ever owned.

Always worth a look here http://www.tritoncycles.co.uk/frames-forks-c6 and adding All City to your list. I’ve got the macho man disc and I’m very pleased with it.

I can now recommend Howies shorts, they are very good indeed. Probably better than my castelli and rapha ones.

The first £100 is the easiest to spend.

Thinking about it I think the bike and pedals affect what you want to wear. I.e. steel cross bike with flats = trousers and shell toes, single speed and SPD = disco slippers and a bit of Lycra. Mash it up and get down with the kids.

My first monster cross was a van dessel WTF which was a true monster cross, but unfortunately it cracked but the new ones have addressed this issue. Now riding a All City macho man disc with 700 x 40 tyres, this feels more like a off road tour bike. I run 2 x 10 speed using a xt front mech dual pull front mech. The chain set is a SRAM 40,26 I think. Have fun.

Do some activities that may help with grip/strength eg sorting clothes pegs and pegging them onto something, use tongs to pick up a selection of small objects, make play dough from scratch (2 cups of flour 1 glug oil 3/4 cup water use poster paint to colour it) when mixing it encourage to need with fingers. Try painting anti clockwise concentric circles to help with letter formation. Use a pencil for writing so he gets used knowing what pressure to use. Look at his grip, you want to encourage a tripod grip. A triangular sleave over the pencil can help. Try a board at a 30 degree angle to aid support. Change the colour of paper to a pale yellow. All things to try, make it fun and don’t tell him its all writing related. Cheers 1 shed

Nice frames but orange is the fastest colour just not with me on it. This is worth reading http://blog.treefortbikes.com/index.php/posts/4083 happy to recommend. I used Triton cycles to purchase it, all good.

Would their be room for a MNPR b team? I’ve joined a couple of rides at Prestwich but the big hill stuff is out of my comfort zone. But a regular Monday night at Prestwich I would more likely attend. Don’t know it well enough to lead it but would be interested. Quite happy to join up and have a chat.

Boys do tend to miss out by not having dolls and tea sets as they are great for developing every day speech. Many boys play with just cars and dinosaurs etc have limited language and don’t sequence in their play.

Last car was a Puma, great little car but lately had the water proofing of a colander. Now got a Alfa Romeo 147 bit more space but still nice to drive. For bikes, kit and stuff nothing beats our trusty 1.9 diesel Berlingo.
