Being different is not a issue. Having something that will work is. I’ll be paying for it so would like to keep costs down. Cheers 1 shed.

Cycle fit Manchester might be worth investigation, not used them but quite a impressive shop with an emphasis on bike fit.

Don’t quite understand your question, but if I am wearing lycra shorts I wear decathlon walking trousers over them very stretchy and not too baggy £30 or if I’m wearing 3/4 bibs I wear baggy MTB shorts over. Socks at this time of varying lengths of merino ones. Having said all that hands, feet and body are more considered because my legs don’t get that cold. Cheers 1 shed.

I would gladly meet up, live in Monton so not too far. Happy to ride out and you set the pace. Just don’t leave me behind. Happy riding xc type stuff or a bimble along the Mersey on my cross bike. Don’t know what the weather is like on Sunday but could meet up then? All the best 1 shed.

He has come a long way from fun song factory. I have been compared to him. We both have a desire to help children communicate effectively. I like him and the fact he has brought disability to the mainstream.

Flaky new age response is do you connect to a carbon frame emotionally in the same way as say a steel one? I had a carbon road bike and felt nothing for it despite it being more efficient, better? I relate and put value in a lump of metal that I don’t into carbon. Flame away. Cheers 1 shed.

Get him to bring outdoor clothing, go to the woods build a den. Take a saw and show him how to use it. Flask of hot vimto in the den when finished. Jobs a good un.

When I had a very poorly knee. I went to the doctor and he said no cycling for 2 weeks and come back in 2 weeks and if it was not any better he would book me in for a operation. 2 weeks later still very sore but a little better. The doctor was ready to book me in for an operation, but I asked for physiotherapy first. He agreed to this. The physio was good and got me going again. The cause was falling off my bike on black ice, running single speed and a misaligned cleat. All sorted by Salford NHS.

Zipp service course bar tape is very good. Much better than bontrager foam/Cork tape that fell to bits looking at it. Zipp tape lasts and has a soft gripping feel to it.

They have flown to Monton, the back garden has been full of them. Totally ignoring the seeds, had a flock of tiny birds razzing about yesterday.

Carhartt do skinny jeans in their x range for smaller people 26w 32l and maybe smaller, if you’re near Manchester try the Carhartt shop they stock them. Probably £40ish in the sale but good quality. Levi start at 26w I think both have fitted my son. Look in TKMAX for cheap Monday jeans in the mod box section can be had for £15ish. Good luck 1 shed.

Just watched the video of Hebden Bridge and has brought a tear to my eye. As a family we visit quite often and love the town. We will be back and support the local businesses. Hope it stops soon.

Leg of lamb in a casserole dish sitting on whole peeled carrots add 1/2 a bottle of red wine, a few shallots, garlic, chilli flakes and beans of your choice leave to cook slowly. Eat and drink the rest of the wine. Enjoy your day. Cheers 1 shed.

I wouldn’t be overly concerned about it, but may be investigating it further and what is an suitable alternative. Could he have something malleable that is kept in his pocket? Most children are less anxious at home because they are not experiencing the same level of demands at home. They probably won’t even recognise or be able to express why it happens. If you want to discuss it further have a meeting with his teacher and have the SENCO present. Good luck, cheers 1 shed.

Make sure you read the specification and are happy with that. Looks good but will be harder to sell on than other brands.
