Label the action not the child, where possible get the child to take responsibility and explain what was the right choice. If you are using time to reflect no more than 1 minute to their age and only use if they have put themselves or others in danger. It’s hard work trying to get things right be it a parent or carer.

Nipper I was looking at the macho king on the web tonight it’s £899 at trinton cycles where do you get the tripster at that price? I’m quite taken with the sonder camino but need to see one in the flesh, thinking of a road plus build. I’ve got a all city macho man disc currently and it’s a nicely finished frame.

Very nice that, the fork is particularly good.

Currently got a all city macho man disc which is good but thinking about an sonder camino with road plus wheels. Not steel but the bowman footscray in orange looks reet and I keep on looking at the velo orange piolet. Happy hunting and choose something pretty.

The castelli stuff above will be lovely to ride in but is not casual/understated. I have got a pair of decathlon walking trousers which I wear with a pair of padded under shorts or bib shorts for longer rides. On my top half a plain merino long sleeve top and either a gilet or a nice howies wind proof jacket. I pick up bits from TKMAX outdoor stuff but not cycling specific. I now ride with flats which means I just wear approach shoes. When I used SPD I felt that being lycra man was the way to go. Flats and casual clothing abliet slightly technical is a good comprise. http://www.velovitality.co.uk has a good range of components which may suit your build too.

Just remembered we were asked to video it if possible which we managed to do, it helped the perdition when we saw him. Keep your phone charged and with you.

Check out stands site for inspiration. Sounds similar to what I want to build next.

Yes my son was diagnosed 2 weeks ago he had his first seizure just after easter and it’s horrible to witness as you feel so powerless. He’s had 6 more since but hopefully the Meds will kick in soon. I’ve done a fair bit of crying but have to stay strong and try to keep life as normal as possible. I stayed away from the Internet it’s not my job to diagnose. I hope both you and your wife get the help you need. The NHS have been great. I reacted by being scared, very upset and angry as my son is autistic and already has enough difficulties. Thankfully he is the one that bounces back the quickest. All the best and I hope all works out for you both. Cheers 1 shed.

YoKaiser agreed a road bike that fits plus and 29er big ones would be great but I think I’ll be looking at custom?

Charge with a set of schwalbe big one tyres would be a good choice.

No experience of either, but that is quite a nice dilemma to have. I am planning a new build for next year as I’ve got a big birthday coming up. Want a steel or ti frame that will fit schwalbe big one or thunder burt but also thinking about road plus. What build are you going with? Cheers 1 shed.

I don’t think the programme was enjoyable but I think it made me think. Which isn’t a bad thing?

Eucalyptus and silver birch are both worth considering as they look beautiful.

When you go car shopping take your pram, car seat and a rucksack and see how it all fits in then try getting it all out in a car park. This is where a car with sliding doors and a higher roofline is a good idea. The amount of bending and twisting to get a child out of a small car with conventional doors is horrendous.

If you can get past the looks how about a Citroën memo multispace, can be bought within budget and has sliding doors and a higher roofline. Should have enough space for all stuff you end up carrying around. Cheers 1 shed.

Worth asking on the Surly Krampus Facebook page?

Speak to Charlie the bike monger about his beach football, I would join just for that. On a sensible note I’m sure it will be rewarding but hard work. Cheers 1 shed.

Once he’s done a job in his pants, take him to the toilet and put the poo down the toilet then put a flushable wipe in his hand and get him to wipe. Then get him to flush the toilet. This way doing a poo is always associated with going to the toilet. To keep my daughter on the toilet I used to put toys in a tied up sock and she had to guess what was in it. This was called the pooer. The wife thought it was mad but it worked. Also he will do it in his own time. Cheers 1 shed.

Take a cross bike and a map. Lots of tracks and back roads to explore. The north Norfolk coast and surrounding area is wonderful. Cheers 1 shed.

Hi, I spoke to the counselling service in work today about this and they suggested contacting the counselling & family centre in Altrincham or 42nd st in Manchester. Be strong keep going and don’t give up. Cheers 1 shed.

You could try some new handle bars, something like the Jones ones. They would suit the look of the bike and give you multiple positions? Cheers 1 shed.
