Speech therapy appointment sorted is a good first step. When was the last time he had his hearing tested? In the mean time play with him with the telly off, get down to his level and follow his lead. Its his game not yours, reduce questions and comment on what he’s doing. You will end up using alot more descriptive language this way. If he miss pronounces words repeat back clearly but don’t make him aware of mistakes. Keep your language simple just 1 step ahead of his eg if typically his sentences are at a 4 word level don’t go over 6 yourself. Childrens speech sounds are developing up to the age of 5. Have fun.

Hora, I don’t quite understand your OP, but as a dad of an autistic son I would love my son to have a friend. He still doesn’t aged 11. So please encourage that friendship to last and be very sensitive when speaking to his parents. I was a complete mess when my lad was that age mourning the life that I had projected for him, I could see it slipping away. Now I’m a proud dad that celebrates every success.

British bike a fast audax check Spa cycles or Dawes did a nice frame and forks. American gravel race, check Salsa Warbird although that has no mudguard eyelets. Sounds like a fun build.

Get them to talk about what they did, don’t make them say sorry.

Test drove a scenic and although technically better than a berlingo/kangoo I just couldn’t buy one. I have a berlingo now and it’s great, but my puma drives better 😀

The kangoo was petrol and the cylinder head gasket was on its way out when we moved it on the berlingo diesel, bog standard engine seems strong but we’ve scraped along more things it just adds charecter. Their not cars to get precious about. Drop the seats use it as a van sweep it out after job done.

Had a kangoo and now have a berlingo both slow with crap handling but brilliant family cars. Sliding doors ace. You can fit a bike on the parcel shelf when the boot is full when you go on holiday, what’s not to like.

It sounds like you all have happy healthy children and be very thankful for that. Take 5 and think about the parents with children with disabilities or terminal illness. I could share stories about the first but thankfully not the second. Love to all and I hope your little ones have a good nights sleep.

Just seen your latest post the route I’ve posted takes 20 minutes from Monton to the start at Agecroft.

Use the canal up to Monton, go along Monton rd after the Park hotel turn left at the bus stop. Up a little path carry on under Quaker Bridge you will come to a foot bridge go over that, carry go through 2 A gates after the second turn right after 20 yards onto a small group of trees and then 1st left this path takes to the side of Swinton Park Golf course. Go under the east lancs follow the path uphill and will bring you out at Springwood school. Turn left onto Barton road then right onto Manchester road carry on till Hospital road go up there till you get to Ranelagh road. You’ll see Agecroft road go down that until you go over the Irwell and your at the start sustrans route which will bring you to the trails at Phillips park. I’ve been out with the Monday night group and they are a good friendly bunch. You can contact me in profile. Cheers 1 shed.

posts like this do get me a bit twitchy, as I have a son who is classically autistic. Read a copy of George and Sam by Charlotte Moore to give a little insight. Cheers 1 shed.

Hi to Sprocket Jockey, that was my bike outside The Sloop Inn.

Good pasties from the deli, nice beaches and the sloop inn seems ok. Bottled beers by Tomos Watkins not bad, riding rolling country roads not all bad eh.
