Buy the magazine,be a premier member. Support where you spend your time. I hate the advert, but this gave me an enjoyable place to be. It’s cheap compared too many things. Thankyou single track.

Thank god I found this, that ad has got to be the most intrusive bit of advertising ever.

Don’t dismiss the Fuji, I had one for road use only. I made adjustments starting with freewheel, saddle, f&R brakes it wasn’t harsh, nimble and quick. I would imagine lighter than most too. Could you get a test ride? I also did some 30 mile + road rides and didn’t feel battered. Enjoy what you buy.

Swiss Tony, A play bike can be a beautiful hard ride, you can spank it, rag it in a fast and furious fashion. Get all sweaty and not give a damn. A quick wipe with an old rag should be sufficient at the end of your session.

    I’ll get my coat.:-D

So the 2013 frame @ £149 bargain or not thinking of building up 1 x 10 with carbon forks. Hmmm what to do?

Don’t give dried fruit as a snack only fresh fruit. Dried fruit only as part of a main meal. The drying process changes the natural sugars in fruit. Milk and water as drinks between meals no fresh fruit juice only at mealtimes.

Get yer drain rods out, I had exactly the same problem. I started from the front of the house by lifting a rectangular drain cover, that meant I could get in and rodded each drain. Then went to the back and did that. The rods can go round 90 degree bends. Didn’t use the attachments and didn’t need to, strangely satisfying job. I am not a professional.

I’ve got welgo cnc trekking pedals, not as big as mtb pedals but still plenty of grip and use a pair of 9 year old gore lined approach shoes. All good in most situations.

what was quite interesting was the first person to serve us was very pro Samsung, I let him prattle on as I’d already clocked his visitors badge, I then asked him “who do you work for”? Answer “Samsung”. MIL probably would have bought that if I hadn’t been there due to his patter! I think if they are from a company other than John Lewis they should disclose it.

Thanks for the input so far, if it was my money I would go and buy another iPad. I don’t think she really knows why she why their buying it other than to stay up with the times and sees them more as a computer than a entertainment tablet. Apps are not too important.

Yes he may have perfect hearing but you don’t know that. Due to frequencies he may miss some speech sounds but still be able to pick up the overall sentence meaning. It costs nothing and rules out one potential issue. I would routinely refer even though I didn’t think their was a problem. Standard practice.
