Fixie – don’t use that word again! It’s fixed! 🙄

I’m yet to be corrected but, Bianchi to be pronounced as “Bee-arn-chee”

With Cinelli, again yet to be corrected on, as “Sin-ellie”

Read what one can see! 🙂

Bloke looking at a Giant T-mobile NRS at their stand a few years ago “I prefer my Biankee”, when referring to his Bianchi.

Woman in the local bike shop calling one of their bikes on display a “Chinelly”, instead of a Cinelli.

As far as I know it should be cleaned right away or soon after. Same goes for hedge trimming – drove past some idiot doing that earlier, crest of a hill, no warning signs and leaving hawthorn all over the road (can puncture a car tyre too).

Mayhem were pretty good last year, I think I had about 4 showers all together, nice and hot and a good way to use the free Original Sauce shower gel! Only had to que a couple of times too. 🙂

Decathlon do some great hydration bags, at good prices too. Camelback are just overpriced!

Yeah, was going to mention Aldi. Was in there the other day and they had lots of seat/boot covers.

Some rather idiotic comments on this thread, you have to realise that people have a great connection to their pets, and rightly so. Perhaps its some macho-esq front they like to put on to impress other forum users?

Remember everyone – Failing to declare after market alloy wheels will void ones insurance if you are involved in a crash.

Tell me about it! I only had two tubes with me! Good thing my mate had some spare tubes and patches – he punctured about five times as well I think.

At one point I pulled four thorns out of the tyre! 😮

Nah, thats not on. When I had my bike on here I bumped it after a few days, which I think is acceptable.

Scuse me butting in, but….for example could one have their bike sprayed in a desired colour and matching decals replaced after?

What has Halfords got to do with it? Most stores I know of only sell a few of the lower end models.

The title track is horrible, sounds like Pendulum-esq garbage and nothing like The Prodigy of old.

Ive yet to hear any of the other tracks yet though…

    Can do yeah 🙁

The reservoir caps have Torx head fitting, but I don’t think they’re loose and I guess that wouldn’t cause a leak from the air hole anyway…hmmm.

Well mine are just after the centre position.
When I first fitted them I tried them in a few different positions until I was happy.

It’s not a big job, but will make a big difference in the long run! And tighten the tension up a couple of turns to get some more ‘support’

    ciao.

Make sure the cleats are in a good position on the sole of your shoes. Sounds daft, but a few MM of adjustment could set you right.

What world are you living in? I had the brakes serviced on my CAR by my mobile mechanic. Took less than an hour and that was only £30.

    Hello pantsonfire,

I happen to work part time in a Bikehut, apologies for the idiots you’ve had dealings with in other stores! Most stores seem to employ idiots as a matter of course..

Anyway, just though I’d inform you that ALL Halfords stores are able to order Boardman bikes, regardless of the particular model you require.

Bear in mind though that it is a 2009 bike, so supply may be a problem for a short while (Last year the factories producing the bikes couldn’t keep up with demand, which lead to a shortage throughout the range)

The bike got 9/10 in an MBR review, so it’ll be worth the wait! Would try and sort if myself but I’m miles away from yourself!

Good luck, and if you are peed off phone HR and complain! May get some discount… 🙂
