My rebas have given up the gost today and I think it’s time to treat myself to new forks after 7 years.

    No idea what’s out there.

    budget 300-400 pounds
    120 mm travel.

    suggestions ?

    cheers

Fox thru-axle, works brilliantly on my Ti. But I’m a Fox fan-girl. 🙄

Where can you get a Fox 120mm thru-axle for for £400?

    after 7 years.

Out of interest, which Ti frame did you have running 120mm forks from 7 yrs ago?

Rigid carbon eXotics. I put a set on my Ti hardtail after the Rebas leaked and I sent them back, when the Rebas came back repaired I realised I hadn’t missed them at all so I sold them. The eXotics are much more comfortable than the steel forks we used to use in the 80s and 90s and they are amazingly light.

It’s a Pastey Howler ti. Mrs Mugsy has recently increased the travel on the rebas to 120mm.

    Ah.

Only asking as until the more recent Ti29ers I didnt know of any that were designed around anything more than a 470mm/480mm ish A-C. Rebas at 120mm are up at 520mm ish I think.

Ive run my old rebas at 120mm in the pyrenees on the Ti29er (470mm design) and it’s fine going down hill, but bit silly everywhere else.

I now have it at 460mm ish and it rides brilliantly.
