  • Vittoria syerra for a gravel event?

Sorry for another tyre question. Im doing a glorious gravel event as on my doorstep in Thetford. 60k of sand and gravel fireroad. I don’t have a gravel bike so doing it on a voodoo bizango pro which I use for xc stuff. Currently has a reckon/high roller set up. I have a pair of Vittoria syerra in the garage I’ve never used (cheap on market place), no idea what they are like, any faster rolling than what’s fitted or would a reckon race/reckon be a better option.

    Thanks

I haven’t tried them, but they are pitched as xc/light trail so suspect they will out-roll any combo that had a high roller in it. Whether a rekon race/rekon is quicker, not sure. In general though I am happy with vittoria’s xc tyres and use Mezcals, Barzo, Peyotes and they are all good.
