Just home from work and found this thread. There’s always someone who has a go at the Preston 4. I’ve had one for years – in’s soooo good to ride. Eats anything XC for breakfast… Wouldn’t part with it. I think it’s a great looker in a weird, functional sort of way. Anyway, it rides great and I love mine.
I love my ugly bike, it’s the best riding thing I’ve owned in 20 odd years of mountain biking and it’s even more fun when you come smashing past trail mincers on their “cool hip and beautiful bikes”.
Most importantly, it’s MY bike and I love it. Screw you fashion Nazis 😀
