    saw a guy in Chelt cycles who’d done a great CX conversion on one with rigid forks

    My friend has one, and I have the geared version.
    The forks are the real weak point, as they have a horrible clunk when they top out.
    We both fitted Manitou tower pro forks and now have really nice handling bikes.

    They’re both on offer at Evans right now.

    Ride well as said above forks are nasty.Rest of bike good.Only use mine to commute.

    Had read previous reports on forks being the weak point. Had thought about fitting some carbon rigids
