It was making all sorts of grinding and crunchy noises as well as not really working so I have taken the internals out. There is a ring at the non-drive side that is in little pieces and a spring hanging out that doesn't look like it should be on the outside at all. Any ideas? Anything worth salvaging from this? I can post pics it helps..
