My daughter is quite liking photography at the mo, gotting quite good at it too according to her school teachers.

She’s got used to the schools D60’s and would like if possible something similar, possibly another Nikon, unless the layout is fairly similar on others?

Knowing little about cameras myself I thought I’d ask the collective…

so wanting something as easy to use as the D60, possibly a little more up to date, but also not something that will cost more than about £200. This limits me to refurbished, but what should I be looking out for?

oh, price should include a bog standard lens. 😉

You can tell me if I’m being unrealistic if you wish too.

Broaden your horizons a little and look beyond Canon / Nikon.
Have a look at some of the offerings from Sony or Pentax for example.
I’ve got a pentax K50, which has weather resistance, 16Mp, 6fps shooting etc etc. Got it brand new for £360 including lens.
Plus you can use ANY pentax K mount lens on it.
