I actually thought this could go horribly wrong but still carried on squeezing. Obviously the seal split a second later leading to an earful of High5 gel and loads of it all over the kitchen floor ?

I learnt something yesterday about whether energy packet are open or not:

If you see one dropped on the road and stop to pick it up, if it feels full, you should have a little look before you stuff it in your frame bag for the rest of the day.

It’s about as likely someone dropped it just after they opened it, rather than just before.

If you squeeze hard enough, as it seems you did, isn’t this just a self fulfilling prophecy?

Also, never poke your finger into microwaved food to check that it’s hot on the inside. Even if you’re drunk, it will still hurt like a ****.
